Bacground info; I bought Super Street Fighter IV off Games on Demand a little while ago. I have played it at a friend's house for quite some time, and I've managed to become fairly decent with my chubby ol' pal, Rufus. Now that I am only a couple of wins away from being ranked B, I found myself at a crossroads.

Should I keep going with Rufus to be the best that I can be? Or try something else, maybe to learn a thing or two about other characters?

And so, as the humble achievement collector I am, I decided to go for the mantle piece; "From C to Shining C".

For the uninitiated, this requires that you achieve rank C (1000 Battle Points, roughly 20 wins) with every character (35) in the game. This is my quest, and it will be hard. Very hard. But I've made up my mind, and I will make it happen, come hell or high water.

And now I ask you, are you on a personal quest for (insignificant?) glory and/bragging rights? Have you succeeded in such a quest? This may be in gaming, or in other aspects of your life.

Note: I am doing this on Xbox Live, and my Gamertag is Anarkisten. If you want a gaming buddy, you're free to add me.

My last such quest was Guild Wars, which was to get 30 titles on one character (God Walking Amongs Mere Mortals) and then get 50 out of a possible 50 points account-wide to the game's Hall of Monuments.

I pretty much played that game to death and went on an indefinite hiatus a few weeks after. Can't bear to pick it up.

My current "quest" is to get a job as a host of a radio show. I've finished college, so starting next month, I'll work for a temp agency to save some money, try to get a volunteer job at a radio station, and frantically search the internet for radio stations with openings for on-air job openings, as well as train in MMA to keep from dying of boredom.

I've also got a sidequest to get a six-pack.

Quest?

Oh man, do I have a quest...

Incidentally, that last shot is quite similar to my reaction to the Skyrim teaser.

Good luck to you, sir. I too am in my first year of Uni, though I have dropped out of one subject because of my low motivation and general laziness. I am very much looking forward to a fresh start in the fall.

But yes, good luck, and keep morale high.
