every relationship as rules.im not talking about the basic ones like dont lie,no secrets.i mean the ones that you have to tell your partner.

1.one major one for me is the week before a tournament or a muay thai fight i tell my girlfriend please dont call me between (insert hours here) suprisingly most of my girlfriends have been cool with it as long as they get to see me fight

2.please respect my beliefs and dont question my taste in music (most of the girls ive gone out with dont like heavy metal)

3.do not expect me to choose you over my friends or training cause i do entend to make a career out of fighting

4.the only way i will fight another person for you is if they hit you i will not go beat someone up cause they called you something and i wasnt there to hear it

5.i am a brutally honest person you should be too

6.i can be the sweetest tough guy you will ever meet but you gotta put some effort in too

7. i have alot of stuff people dont expect about me ask

8.this is the most important one IF I SAY I LOVE YOU I MEAN IT DONT QUESTION IT!!!!

I've come to the conclusions should rules be made the relationship has started falling apart and your going into damage control. Maybe some relationships are worth attempting damage control, but after almost three decades of life I've yet to find one relationship that managed to get through damage control without making the relationship far worse.

It has also been why some relationships of mine have fallen apart. Potential mates trying to change who I am to fit their own delusion on what a mate should be like. Some changes I can take, I am adaptable after all, but I have to be willing. I can't be forced into someone else's mould without breaking it.

That said... if your in a BDSM relationship draw up a contract first!
