I hereby present the next step in the ongoing process of stalking my fellow escapists getting to know my fellow escapists and everything about them!

Threads such as ?Behind the avatar? and ?The Escapist accent thread? gave us a face and a voice to go with that face, and this time we're revealing another important part of our lives: our living quarters. Post a few pictures of your room or a simple picture of where the magic happens.[footnote]That's your desk.[/footnote]

So, I guess I'll go first. My room is inspired by African stuff... Basically, I have lot of plants, hippos, elephants and masks. Oh, and my walls are orange.

This is my bed, a few paintings, my nightstand and a carpet (on the wall).

My drums! I have to use electronic drums since I live in an apartment...

My bookshelf and my CD-shelf thingy... And my TARDIS! The thing in the middle of the shelf is a turtle on a stick.

My room is a dark and sinister realm... I only go there to sleep. It's full of chaos and dirty laundry... but mostly dirty laundry. There is a bed (queen size air mattress) and two tables which are also drawers, one of which has a lamp (the only light in the room) which gives off an eerie blue light, and the other which has an alarm clock. Being in college and thus prone to moving frequently I have no bookshelves or heavy furniture, only a haphazard stack of books in one corner which is desperately trying to remain separate from the hurricane of wrinkled clothes.

All my cool stuff is in the living room, which is where I spend most of my time when I'm at home.

I don't have a room, I have a whole apartment. I'd take photos but my camera phone is broken so just imagine a desk with a computer, a TV, a couple black cats and rows upon rows of bookcases with CDs, DVDs, vinyl and books lining the walls and there you go.

Yay, just found my camera! But my apartment's a mess right now, I'll take some pics tomorrow, once my exam's over and I've had a chance to tidy up.

Well...the space by my door contains my TV, PS3, Games, and DVD's. On the wall adjacent to the door is my desk, which is drowning beneath a laptop, notebooks, magazines, CD's, and books. It also has a bookshelf over flowing with books and the such like. The wall adjacent to that has my bed, which is shoved into the corner and buried in dogs and blankets. Anime, gaming, and music posters decorate my walls, along with a collage of photos from my high school years above my bed.

I take pics but I refuse to open the blinds and the camera doesn't work.

My room is inspired by Ikea and a place to leave my clothes, computer, my CD player hooked up to a cheapish surround sound set (for I don't feel like buying a dedicated stereo) and books so not really image worthy.

What a coincidence! I just finished cleaning my room! But, unfotunately, my computer has been taken off me. Damn my parents, damn them to hell!!!!

I'm sure I'll get it back soon enough, so I'll take some pictures in the meantime, and upload them as soon as I can.

Edit: I've done what Furburt did, and taken a picture from each corner of my room. I'm sure you can stitch it together for yourself...

i have no pictures. I have my tv and soundsystem, my 360, my ps3, my laptop, my bed, my beanbag, a cupboard with my guitar and other things i never use anymore, my bookshelf, my wardrobe and my cat's bed. the floor is laminate, my walls have cream paint.
