Seems like I'm part of the minority that enjoyed my time at school (in the UK)
Primary (Year 4-8) was pretty good, making different groups of friends depending on who were in my classes and you pick up truer friends along the way. Teachers were fine too. Bullied a tiny bit but not to the extent of other escapists from what I've read.
High school (Year 9-11) was great, so much banter, lots of friends and still regularly hang out with the majority of them (I generally prefer them to my uni friends). Classes were a breeze and quite good teachers.
I moved to a female catholic grammar school (I'm a guy) where I became part of the second year of boys let in for sixth form. For some reason I think not many boys did too well in their exams and there ended up being only 7 guys in my year and it was a different experience but in a good way. Like my GCSEs, I found my A-levels very manageable and had time to go out and game a lot and teachers had banter with the students which made it more enjoyable.
And now here I am in university missing the easy times.
It's great having more independence and income but the work is hard and I'm only one year in ha.
