I like playing realistic FPS shooters, while I hate most indie games with the notable exception of Minecraft. Gaming highbrow I am not.

I never completed the Warrior or Mage guilds in Oblivion. I still have well over 100 hours of time spent doing other things, and all of the other achievements.
I thought I was the only one.

Never played any of the games on the Orange Box because I want to play Half-life 1 before I get it, but I can't find that ANYWHERE! I've also played Silent 1,3,5, and shattered memories but I can't find 2 EITHER! >.<
I also can't play Minecraft because of my CRAPPY PC!

Never beat Chrono Trigger (and I really like the game, I have the awesome DS version), never beat Link to the Past, I just plain dislike FF6 (that's not really shameful for me though LOL), and I'm too scared to play the first Resident Evil, that includes Director's Cut as well as REmake

I own about 10 games on Steam I haven't installed yet and probably never will.

I honestly believe that Twilight Princess is better than Ocarina of Time, and every time I bring this up, I get told that my opinion is wrong from people whose glasses are more rosy than the garden in the White House. Well, excuuuuuuuse me, Princess, but I didn't play it back when it was new, so how do you expect me to judge it by the standards of back then, or claim that it shouldn't be judged by today's standards? Unskippable exposition dumps that say things we already know were just as annoying then as they are now, too!

In fact, I don't have any gaming nostalgia at all. Even Lego Racers, the first game I ever played, doesn't evoke any feelings of 'Hey, I remember this!', partly because I can't run it any more, it's so old.

My first actual game for an actual gaming platform was licensed. And it sucked.

I re-bought Mario Kart Wii a few months after I traded it in.

Edit: No Minecraft, and I don't ever intend to buy it, simply because I refuse to give into the hype, even if Extra Credits says it's good. Same thing goes for Recettear, without the bit about EC.

and I still think to this day that a game based on the blues brothers or disneyworld would be cool...

A Blues Brothers game could be awesome.

OT I have never finished Wind Waker
I am sure there was a Blues Brothers game because I think I had it or at least played it.

20 years damn it

me neither dude. Infact, the only Sonic game that i've been able to beat (I believe me I have practically every sonic game made) is Sonic and the Black Knight, which I needed help with from a friend on this one stupidly cheap boss.

snapped it in half? achievement unlocked.

Oh and I bought Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing for the wii, got it for a friend for his birthday (also for the wii) played it some with him online, then sold it and bought it for the PS3 (still have the ps3 copy) and am deeply considering getting the $6 port of the game for the Ipad(the ipad is the family ipad).

Basically you move around left right up and down and try not to hit obstacles the whole game. Looked almost as bad as the star wars Kinect game.

I always preached for Oblivion over Morrowind and stubbornly ignored all the pleas from friends begging me to try it. They said once I got past Morrowind's slow start I'd love it, but I never gave it a chance. But last week I found myself bored with Oblivion, because I've done EVERYTHING possible within the game world haha. I've seriously overplayed that game in the last few years. Became a fuckin Oblivion guru. So, as a joke, I loaded up Morrowind. Played for a while and sadly had to swallow my pride and tell myself I FUCKING LOVE IT. Haha it's how Oblivion used to be for me, that is to say, I think about it when I'm not playing it, etc. Still haven't told any of my Morrowind-loving friends though... ;)

Also, I've played most Final Fantasy games and love them but haven't beaten a single one. Usually quit near the final boss. Just get tired of them. Or have to be away for a while and lose my place in the game when I come back. So ashamed
I tried Oblivion about a year ago and (foolishly) jumped right into the main story line without attempting anything else. A level 2 Nord with shitty weapons and armor, basically no spells, and a vague idea of how to play trying to close an Oblivion Gate. I did worse than you would expect.

Gave the game back to my friend and ignored him every time he told me how awesome it is. I got tired of him whining about two months ago and tried it again, this time completing all of the guilds and the Shivering Isles before beginning the main quest. Fucking love it. One of my favorite things to do is put on the Grey Fox cowl and run through the cities, getting an army of guards chasing me. Makes me laugh every time.

And now, apparently, I need to play Morrowind. Damn.

Now, for the topic on hand.... Hmmm. Well, I bought Too Human the day it came out and beat it five times. In my defense, it was with a different friend each time, but FUCK that game.

I started the Warcraft 3 Frozen throne campaign before beating the reign of chaos one, and have yet to complete the reign of chaos campaign D :

I beat Vice City using cheat codes, quite excessively I should add.

I consider myself an avid Zelda fan, yet I have never completed any of its 2D titles.

I switched Dragon Age to easy difficulty to defeat the brood mother boss, and again to defeat the arch daemon.

I play Minecraft on peaceful, except to use mob farming towers.

Ive never beaten a left 4 Dead campaign on expert difficulty, and have given up trying.

I'm above level 120 in Runescape (this one I am most ashamed of)

Having taken film production in college, there was this one course where the teacher would go on and on about why directors do this and that and the other thing to their movies. Whenever I watch a movie, I can't help but see movies from this perspective and sometimes this ruins part of the movie experience for me. For example and not entirely a ruining situation, mostly harmless. Wash from Firefly episode 1, when he is first introduced he is seen playing with dinosaur toys while he waits for the rest of the crew to retrieve some goods from an abandoned ship of some sort. Mentally I'm thinking. "Oh okay this guy is supposed to the comic relief character." Which he was and that was his characters purpose in the crew.

This has leaked into my game play and I feel that it sometimes ruins the immersion of the game. "Oh this is done here for this very reason and this reason alone."

Not saying I needed my education to see this, but I am most certainly aware of it now, and my god is it all too obvious in games. SC2 single player campaign is riddled with this to the point where I spoiled the entire storyline of the game for myself an hour into the game. I feel it is the developers fault for making it so obvious in the first place. If you're spoiling the twist at the end of your game THAT early, then you need to rework your story telling.

It took me several months to beat Portal 2. Not because it was difficult...I was just bored with the puzzles so I put it off. Don't get me wrong, I liked the game well enough, but finishing puzzles isn't enough motivation for me. I need more of a story to like a game XD.

Hell, took me over a year with the first Portal...

Also, I've probably only beaten...maybe 15 games ever in my life. Either I get bored or stop playing for a while and forget or I just decide I no longer like it. XD

I have played several hundred hours in Oblivion but I've never finished the main plot.
I once gave in and played WoW for a few weeks.
