The TV Tropes site is my latest nerdy delight.

It hasn't ruined my life, despite what the site itself says it will do. It's just enriched my experience of fiction.

But then, I would find it useful. I want to get my writings published.

Crap loads of animes (Bleach, Kenshin, etc.)

But my real unusual nerd obsession is Godzilla. I love all of the Toho monsters. I have Godzilla toys from when I was younger, and I collect Godzilla movies. Please don't tell me it's just a guy in a rubber suit...because I already know, and it just makes me love it more. (And anyways later some of them use CGI :p)

Lucky Star, not because I'm a pervert, because that show is EPIC.

Also The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, I dance to Hare Hare Yukai when no one's around.

"Labyrinth".
Not this one.

I have to admit that the sequence for "Magic Dance" is weird in a "not cool" way, but I love the song. Love all the music, actually.

I cut it more slack than I do for other films with a similar lack good acting/plot refinement/what have you. "The Dark Crystal" is a better film overall than "Labyrinth", but still like the latter a lot too. I don't know why. Is it that I'm such an effects/make-up/puppetry geek? Is the art design? The "Helping Hands" scene? The Escher-inspired scenery in Act III? The copious amounts of David Bowie? But yeah, I don't admit to others that I like this movie as more than a as slice of 80's to snicker at.

Stand the f*ck back, this sh*t just got real *cracks knuckles*

I watch loads of anime in original Japanese. Most recent is Lucky Star. Because it's awesome. *bro fists ScarOfElement*

I'm really looking forward to Ar Tonelico 3... Look it up if you haven't heard about it.

I love art books for anime and JRPGs the best.

Rare games in general make my pants tighten. I just went to a Game Crazy earlier today that had, all in a row, two copies of Persona 3 FES, and one copy each of Grandia III, Ar Tonelico 2, Eternal Darkness, and Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard. I nearly shat a brick.

I own most of the Shin Megami Tensei games that have come over to the US.

I play airsoft with my ex-military friends in an abandoned woods area in the middle of a coastal town. Full camo.

More than 75% of my games are JRPGs.

I attend at least two anime conventions a year. My friends and I are getting a hotel room just to prolong our stay at one later next month.

*smokes* yeah... I hardly tell these things to anyone, so that's why all of this is generally considered "secret."

Right now I'm totally nerding out by catching up on all the Zero Punctuation vids I've missed until now and watching the Sam & Max animated series from the 90s.

*sigh* Transformers. They rock out loud... too bad they just collect dust after you are done with them or the next toy line comes out...

It is not a shame for me, but I'm sure most would think it should be. I have the Triforce tattooed on my left arm.
No, that is by no means shameful. LoZ is something that has influenced a fair few people's lives. But do you use it for Power, Wisdom or Courage?
All three. I'm a firefighter, so I have to use all three everyday. God, we are nerds...

I know pretty much everything important about the Star Wars extended universe, although I've never read that many books. It came pre-installed.
And not to forget my passion about Cracked.

Both of those shows are awesome! I really want to watch the second season of Haruhi, but I can't find it in dub. :x
