Are you kidding? Being a nerd is what I live for, it's my sustenance. I'll tell you fella's three Nerd Delights that I honestly pride myself on and/or enjoy alot.
1) I read Sakura Lemon sometimes. If you don't know what it is, that's totally cool. It's not like your other nerd friends will laugh at you and call you a douche for not knowing about it. It's basically fan fiction with an erotic twist, and it's not as wierd as it sounds. I enjoy reading what other people think would happen in a romantic relationship between characters in my favorite media's. Besides that, there's nothing quite like reading a well written and grammatically correct short story about Cloud doinking Tifa. But most of all I like writing my own. Not always about games and things, but sometimes just 'Girl Next Door' stories and the like. In fact, I've written around twelve finished stories on a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Sakura website. They have extremely favorable ratings. (By the way, I don't get my rocks off to them).
2) I play Dungeons and Dragons every day at lunch with a bunch of friends, and we get more and more people every day. The only reason it's shunned is because it's been stereotyped by television and such. Usually when the, 'It's fun you just use your imagination', explanation doesn't work, I just go with 'You can rape any Elf at any Tavern without roofies. Just cast a sleep spell on them'. It works almost 90% of the time.
3) And Finally, I listen to the most Nintendo-tastic Nintencore out there. No screamo, no intruments, just a very light synth and awesome Nintendo bloops and bleeps.
I refuse to shelve my inner nerd when I leave my sanctum. If the world isn't ready for me, they'd better pull a South Park and bury their heads in the sand. -F
