I would use nine Jewish American soldiers, led by a lieutenant from Tennessee, who perform the black-ops missions and are free to go about this however they please.

I shouldn't have to tell you all their name.
I want my scalps.

I'd probably choose the crack team of BMX Bandit and Angel Summoner.

Captain Miller's Macropterous Mechanized Marine Corps.

A group of highly trained, well endowed women who ride around in giant, steam-powered, large-winged robots. (Macropterous=having large wings. The robots can fly, but the wings are collapsible) Their weapons: built in chainguns, chainsaw-swords, cannon-sized revolvers (around 90 mm, HE rounds). The robots can be equipped differently, ie, with bombs, missiles, extra guns or auxiliary fuel tanks. Notably, the team sniper uses a 135 mm rifle/cannon.

They launch out of the airborne battleship the Virgil, which itself is heavily armed. (it's called the Virgil because it is supposedly capable of braving the depths of The Inferno, read some Dante, dammit). And they are led by the legendary Captain Miller, a 5'4" blonde woman who, if Vin Diesel, Chuck Norris and 2 or 3 T-1000s from Terminator 2 were to fight her at once, she might just start to break a sweat.

I have too much time on my hands.
wow! you actually thought this through haven't ya

Pirates - for drawing the attention of the enemies. Their galleon would also be useful for intercontinental transport and as siege weaponry.

Highly trained squad of ninjas - while the enemies are distracted by the pirates, the ninjas will surround them, killing them from behind and spreading chaos and confusion among them.

Robot assassination squad - unable to feel fear or pain, these operatives would be deployed for suicide missions. Their heavy armor would give them a fighting chance, and the ability to outfit their shoulders with miniguns gives them superior firepower.

Darth Maul - just because he was the only good thing about The Phantom Menace and I wanted to throw a Sith in there.

I'm an aspiring novelist, the protagonist of my first attempt at a novel is backed up by something along those lines. Well, they're equipped similarly, anyway. There are no Terminators, Vin Diesels or Chuck Norrises in the novel, BTW, that's just an illustrative example.

I have to say if your looking for the most ludicrous special forces troop check out "The Frogs" from MGS4. I would love to see the board meeting with mister kojima.

"So guys, They are this super cool special forces unit: Female Cyborg Ningas with P90s and semi automatic snipers that can jump over buildings and knife you really fast. And their name is
'The Frogs' for some reason or other. How about it?"

"No that sounds really stupid."

"Who is the boss here? It is me. Now shut up and start going through the copious process of modelling, texturing and animating my stupid ideas you lout!"
