Hmmm, I've never really thought about it. I have thought about what music I would listen to in a dog fight, and it would absolutely have to be Rush by The Seatbelts:

Most epic Trombone solo ever!

Hmm, tank....tank.... I supposed I would have to go with this, might also go well with CAS in an Attack Chopper like the Ka-50?

To quote the top comment, "Now THIS is a song about Friday!"

What other than Ride of the Valkries?

I would post a video but it's quite a pain in the ass to do on the iPod Touch.

Either Panzerlied, or Bulls on Parade which I actually listened to while serving in a tank while I was in the Army

This. First heard it on Twisted Metal 4, and it's about the most badass song I know of.

Pac.

I figure that if I'm in a tank there's a pretty good chance this song will fit anyway :)

@ OP: Mechwarrior 2 is pretty much the most underrated video game soundtrack of all time.

Say at some point in your life, you are driving a tank for whatever reason.
Rampaging, joyriding, groceries, you realize that the experience is not complete without a proper song to accompany your furiously-overcompensatory ride.
What would you pick?
Personally, I'd go for the track "Rogue Chariot" from Mechwarrior 2.
Well, hello there, MIDI! Been a long time since Metroid Prime!

The Mars Volta. Anything by them.

My choice? Smack My ***** Up by The Prodigy, or Hell March from the Command and Conquer soundtrack.

...the irony being I was actually a tank gunner (M-1 Abrams) in the US Army, and have actually been in said track while Smack My ***** Up played at about 90 decibels.

And yes, we got in trouble for that.

Definately have to go with Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture. I know it's cliché but ever so fitting.

either that or ....
from the greatest band in the world.
