Your Thoughts on DirectX 11?

I personally think DX 11 came out too soon. Most games still use DX9 and the minority still use DX 10. But only very few games require DX11. But developers are pushing towards making quite a few games with DX11, so I don't know...I think it's too early...

Is it really a problem for us though? Even if we don't have DX11 graphics cards it doesn't make the DX10 or DX9 look any worse.

I don't think its too early to be creating new tech since we do eventually have to replace things so we do need working being done even if it isn't utilised straight away
