Fun but confusing.

I can't really shorten my stance on the game to three words and make it still make sense. Basically, I really like the game, but it desperately needs a tutorial. The first 45-60 minutes were really bad, as I had no idea wtf was going on or what to do about it. If they had set up a decent tutorial, then I would have loved it from the start.

As it stands, I give it a 7/10. With a good tutorial, that would be a 9/10.

Porbably coulda done what i did and paused the game 5 seconds after noticing "wait...wtf do i do?" and looked at the manual.

well then that's steam/bethesda's fault for not including maybe a 40 kb max TEXT file in a download for a game :/

Did you miss the gaint warning, saying that if you would watch the 5 minute tutorial you'd get some extra points. 'Cause it most definetly had a longer tutorial than about any FPS.

Which didn't cover how the parkour worked. Or how to handle the objectives screen (matter of fact, they gave exactly the wrong directions for that).

I like it!

Even the single-player campaign was enjoyable, gameplay-wise, there wasn't any effort put in the storytelling at all, all I could gather was, the resistance were living the hobo-dream, but somehow along the way, they got a lot of high-tech guns and equipment, then decided to escape the ark, while the Security folks want their little hobo to behave. Oh, and there was this guy who kept reminding about how the Security folks are mean, every single cutscene.

this explanation of the story while slightly inaccurate was so funny i almost pee'd myself

Yeup, and a proper tutorial tells you what button does what action, not just what the direction pad does

I am glad this game has a sniper-like gun though, not liking how sometimes the scope stays up after firing, but eh, i'll get over it...
