It doesn't really bother me. Yeah, it's corny, but the guy is so badass that I just can't bring myself to give a damn.

I don't know. Beating the shit out of his opponents with his mind seems to out-cool anything that Smoke brings to the table. Well, almost anything. Smoke's origins are cooler.

smoke can melt people from the inside,nothing Against Ermac,cause he too is a great character but Smoke is a bad ass,and hes got ball,takes some serious ball to pull off being a silver ninja.

It's more complex than that: They made excuses for the lack of female characters, while touting their customization as "infinite."

So it's really a matter of principle. But I'm not going to derail this thread when there's already one on the topic.

Why the hate?

I have honestly been having a lot of fun playing it. Granted, it does have some issues (it is published by Bethesda after all) Brink is a nice breath of fresh air. If anything it will tide me over for a while before I go back to waiting for Battlefield 3.

Bring some friends.

The biggest problem right now is the single-player. The AI is absolutely horrible; no one can deny that. A simple fix is getting a few friends, or setting your game to public. Or, since the multi-player also progresses the campaign, you could go that route.

Parkour, fuck yeah.

Although it can feel clunky sometimes it does provide a bunch of new strategies for moving up on the battlefield. I have yet to try it out on the consoles, but from what I have heard, the controls do seem pretty bad. All of the control problems can be avoided by using the superior mouse and keyboard.

Would you rather have 20 interchangeable customization options or 10 and 2 different body types? I'd rather have the 20, regardless of which gender it is. It would be kind of wierd though, playing a shooter with all females.

Also, did you ever think it might be kind of awkward creating a large bodied female? It would be harder to tell female body types apart than males.
