2. Twisted Metal - again, when i saw Sweet Tooth light up his head with the guys cigar i nearly squee'd
3. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - when i saw Ezio and the other assassin's go after the prince guy ([small]forgot his name[/small]) i, jizzed, in, my pants... nah, just kiddin', i slightly squee'd...

1. The pre-E3 Deus Ex trailer was the only thing worth mentioning so far. Nintendo, Sony, and even microsoft with their shiny new toys failed to suprise me. I could have probably predicted, hindsight not-with-standing, the big announcements even from as far back as last year's E3 (if you can all remember that mythical era of 2009.) "Natal" comes out, everyone shows off more sequels, and the DS straps on yet another meaningless novelty that substitutes true gameplay innovation for a consumer friendly bell to add to the system's hardly mentionable collection of whistles. A smaller xbox may have been a dubious guess, though, but it certainly was a concievable one. And while move may have been something that no one saw coming ealier this year (which is not a point in it's favor) Sony is hardly developing it out of their usual course of copy->paste, but importantly without the vital context that made the original content successful in the first place.

So, consolidation all round, but at least with a few more token moves to try to attract the mythical lightning of half a decade past. Namely, the Wii's lightning, but it's current "down trend" should be lesson enough to avoid that dead end of gaming.

That's a toughie; there were a lot of cool looking games at E3 this year so far. I'm gonna say the 3DS (especially the new Paper Mario for it, where one of your teammates is a freaking chain chomp!), Kirby's Epic Yarn (which may very well be the cutest game I've ever seen), and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (the showing wasn't great, but I'm sure they'll refine it in time for release).

Bullet Storm's up there too, just because it's so awesome, and InFamous 2 is looking good even if they completely screwed up Cole (I know people complained about him before, but there's no way anyone prefers this jerk).

Really? You prefer the new guy? I liked the old Cole because he was so dark and gritty. This one just seems so happy-go-lucky, uninspired, and boring.

Well i wouldn't go as far as to say that i prefer this Cole over the first Cole, but i'm not saying that i don't like this new version of Cole, i think that the new look will take getting used to but it's something i could live with, and about his new look, i kinda like it, probably because i can relate to the style but more because it fits the new look of the city, in the first one his yellow jacket and pants matched the look of the city pretty well, and this new outfit, along with his hair, match this new city just aswell
so all in all, i like the new Cole just as much as the old Cole and i think that as long as they keep his personality relatively similar i'll be happy...

Well, I guess I'm not so beat up about the way he looks as I am about his voice. I suppose I'll get used to it, but I just hate it when games completely change the looks of their main characters. Then again, maybe I'm just having unpleasant Spyro flashbacks...

Honestly, I guess this new look does fit in with the city better, and his voice isn't so much annoying as just different, but I just hate change, and this seems like a big one to me. As far as gameplay goes though, this definitely looks like an improvement over the original, and I still plan on getting the game. I'm just being nostalgic, I guess.
