multiplayer- Halo 3 (mics muted, ofcourse), TF2, left 4 dead, Red Dead Redemption, and Dawn of War: Dark Crusade

most "Everything I just did in the game was pointless story-wise"- Erm...yea, not sure what you mean about this one. Do you mean games where you can't change the story, or games with some sort of twist that invalidates everything you've done in the game? Get back to me.

game of 2000-2009- Tough one. KotOR, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption, Halo 3, and...shit Fallout 3 I suppose.

RPG- Phew, finally an easy one. Mass Effect 1 and 2, Fallout 3, Baldur's Gate and KotOR

heart-breaking game- Mass Effect 1 and 2 (WREX! MORDIN! NOOOOOOO!), Red Dead Redemption, Metal Gear Solid 3, and Fable 2.

FPS- Halo 3, Left 4 dead 1 and 2, TF2 and CoD4

penguin-esque game- What is this I don't even

immersive/Best story- KotOR, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Fallout 3 and Baldur's Gate. Shocking, I know.

realistic(Sims don't count)- I hate realistic games, but I'll play along. ARMA, ARMA 2, CoD4,...fuck off.

Worst 5 games overall- Superman 64, that ET game, and Resident evil 1-3. Yea, I said it. Who wants a piece.

1) Half-Life (Let's face it ? there were a grand total of 5 important plot points in this game with 3 concentrated at the end. I still love it.)
2) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Similar thing ? lots of story, but very little time spent on the main plot.)
3) Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
4) Oblivion
5) Beneath a Steel Sky

Im confused

Welcome to my world.

On topic: Overall favs (in no particular order) are RDR, Mass Effect, Silent Hill 2, CODMW (though I currently only own CODMW2...last time I bought a game before reading user reviews), and Shadow of the Colossus

Honorable mention: GTA 4 (I enjoy the campaign but usually find myself turning off the phone so I can just drive around like a maniac and wreak havoc), Gears of War, Portal, Peggle (hey, it's addictive, easy to learn, hard to master). To those who don't think "Peggle" is "Hard to master", I challenge you to try beating the "university". My wife and I (we were taking turns) finally beat the main quest, saw the "challenge levels", put down the controller and haven't played it since (except multiplayer) and others.
