"I...feel...g-o-o-d." Probably the creepiest line that mess of static and creepy imagery could say as you tear into it. Also the Masked Man was pretty terrifying if not for the music playing in the background being a horribly twisted version of love theme.

Creepiest boss? Probably Eddie Dombrowski from Silent Hill 2, hands down. With bosses like Abstract Daddy or Pyramid Head, it's very easy to rationalize them as monsters. They are physical manifestations of mankind's sins and baser instincts, sure, but they APPEAR and ACT like monsters. And it's easy to kill monsters, right? You don't get conflicted or a guilty conscious from breaking a wooden plank over some monster's head.

Eddie though... this guy feels like a very real character to me. He starts out very sympathetic, maybe even likable to an extent. Every encounter with him later shows him acting off in a variety of ways, though not too much to set off any alarms... at FIRST. The thing is, Eddie's character isn't exclusive to the game. I've seen people like him on tv, I've KNOWN people like him first hand. Unlike the other monsters of Silent Hill, he HAS a human face, human emotions, and to the end acted quite human.
Good someone else feel it too. Eddie tends to jump for one personality to an other form puking in a toliet to grabing a hole pizza to himself.
Yes I know many people like him in that way anyway lol.

When I was younger, they used to give me nightmares. I am dead serious.

Today, they still creep me the fuck out. Seriously, even posting this image and having to look at those empty black voids known as "eyes" has given me the shivers.

Not to mention, their paralyzing scream.

Yeah, Giygas from Earthbound gets my vote hands down. If nothing else, just for its sheer weirdness.

King Boom Boo from Sonic Adventure 2

I'm dead serious. I couldn't watch my brother play that boss :p

Picture it, your a small red echidna in a circular room running away from a giant ghost with a rainbow tongue. Chills down my spine I tell ya!

Simply put, what enemy in any game has creeped you out the most?

Mine is the boss from fallout 1, the messed up flesh covered room that talks was a bit disturbing.
Everything from Silent Hill.

For me: STALKER Controllers, not because of that damned stun, screen zoom-in thing but because while they slowly approach you can only shoot small bursts because you then get stunned.

Honestly, and you'll laugh at me, the creepiest boss for me was the jack-in-the-box duck thing on Donkey Kong 64. He jumped around in that dark boss arena with his insane duck laugh...gave me shivers when I was a kid...still does...

the main boss from Dead space 1

I mean I dont know what the fuck I was seeing but yeah that would be enough to make anyone crazy...Im interested to see what Dead space 2 has in store
Dead Space 2 is friggin amazing. Best game I've ever played. I've already logged multiple playthroughs. GO GET IT NOW!!!!! lol :p

OT: Pyramidhead in SH2. When he's stalking you in the sewers and you accidentally run in to him...YIPES!!!!!!!!!!

Actually any enemy from SH2, that game gave me the creeps! Bobblehead Nurses and Doormen were creepy too.
Im already playing :)

however progress is slow as I put it on survival (too late to go back now) so far it is AWSOME though I still have that nagging disapointment at the back of my head the I feel the single player is going to be shorter than numer 1

I supose they were going for replay value though Ive replayed sections of it so many times it will be a while before I pick it up again (oh and this DLC thing pisses me off)

I'd say the Bloodsuckers from Clear Sky/Call of Pripyat. They didn't seem bad in Shadow of Chernobyl. And the other things from Call of Pripyat... Trolls or whatever... bastards could take your guns and tried to tap you by making crying baby noises...

I am H-A-P-P-Y that you agree, but I have to say that Giygas's music was worse. The Masked Man was sad, yes, but Giygas's theme sounds like a soul being raped.

Okay, we're not saying deadliest, but creepiest, right? Right. So, let's go with...

The whole game is my boss and enemy, because it's an entire infestation of alien flesh that's eating away at the Antarctic facility I'm stationed on. The water is contaminated with alien life, there are hideous mutations EVERYWHERE, and people have been eaten by the fucking WALLS. So, there's number one.

Others would include...

Of .hack fame, of course.

Of Persona/SMT fame.

Of Phantasy Star (especially the original games) fame.
