Your traditions

whats some of the traditions you and your family/friends/lover/other have?

For my family: Every new years eve on the twelve strokes of midnight we stuff our faces full of grapes. The person who can down the last grape on exactly the last stroke gets good luck.

For my girlfriend: Every anniversary we watch a sci-fi movie (one of the perks of dating a nanotech student)

My family watches Galaxy Quest every Thanksgiving. No idea how that one started, but it's awesome.

We also watch the Twilight Zone marathon on the Sci-Fi channel every New Year's Eve.

every year all year my family ignores each other especially me for being the family disappointment/ mistake.

Every 3 years or so my family launches Atheist Crusades on tiny european principalities. (Last time it was Liechtenstein) They don't get anywhere most of the time.
