What's the story behind YOUR user name? There are some pretty cool and indecipherable ones out there and it would be interesting to know what's behind them. Mine? I was trying to pick a gamer tag for xbox live could really pick one that wasn't already taken so I pressed randomize, closed my eyes and pressed A and ended up with this, Its grown on me and now I quite like it.
I get the feeling this has probably been done before, but anyway in a sense everything has.

Back when I used to play WCIII all the time(and I mean, all the time), I made up this username for it. I really don't know why, and ever since then...I've been using it for just about everything else. And plus, come on, who around here doesn't recognize the Panda at this point? =P (I'm kidding)

As for me, I think it was when playing AVP: Extinction on the PS2. There was a unit called the Vanguard and I thought it was a cool name so I looked up the definition. Findind that equally as cool, I've adopted it for a lot of things.

My username's just Blaze, in reality. The MG part comes from an old name I used to use a lot when I was younger and before MGlBlaze caught on. The l after MG is just meant to be treated as a vertical line than a letter.

As for the Blaze part, apart from the fact that I thought it sounded cool and the fact that I think Dragons are usually awesome, I had an RP character I called Blaze.

Origins might not be that creative, though I use this username everywhere I can now; I figure it's fairly easily remembered and recognised.


Now read other topics on the boards before posting something like this again. Forums have a search function for a reason.

j0 was character from a flash video I was a big fan of at the time I first started using the handle something close to 6 years ago and is honorific of a family tradition where all males have a j name. The frenzy part is a perversion of my last name. It was originally just mrj0, but most online places have started requiring names longer than six characters.
