As a gamer i realize that at some point we have all had the dream of having one of our crazy ideas be mad into a game that millions of people will play and hopefully love. So lets put those crazy ideas in a place where others may see them and who knows maybe some hotshot game designer will see it on this thread and decide to purchase it off you.

like gmod cross TF2. All the items u can spawn are fully destructable and u can spawn NPC armys to defend the control points.

I have plenty of ideas - and I'd post some here if I had the time; but I don't, so I'll simply leave you with this article (I see people with the idea far too often for them all to be joking, whether you are or aren't is irrelevant):

Yeah, chances are that all the bonkers ideas anyone could ever come up with do at some length exist in the TimeSplitters series or will when TimeSplitters 4 eventually graces our souls.

Timesplitter future perfect is my alltime favourite game... is it a number? or just a spin off?

Of course, a Space Pirate Game!

Essentially Space Combat + 3rd or first Person Shooter, with the ability to enter any ship whose defenses have been disabled to take out it's crew. The Ships have different sizes, from small to gigantic, and under certain conditions you could end up fighting in zero gravity.

Add free roaming elements that AREN'T BORING (no mining!!), a good mainquest with cool setpieces on "land", space (especially there, think Colony Wars and Freespace 2) and within ships, a bunch of customization options and ship/character classes, and i should be happy for the next decade or so.

I loved Elite and Elite frontier on the Amiga, Brabham has supposed to be remaking this fker for the last 20 years but I guess it is never happening.
I would certainly like to see an up to date remake of either of these classics.

Back then I could have probably had a pretty good crack at making one, now I would not have a clue where to start.

Ive been toying with the idea of a little simulation program, where you get to just watch and maybe interact with little Ai's. Just a fun thing to watch.

I once had this idea where your objective would be to survive in a randomised area as best as you can. You'd be able to make weapons, clothes and buildings out of materials you could find in that area. Didn't really think that much of it though, but I think it'd be a pretty nice game.

Well, I'm a game art student, and I have couple ideas I hope I'll go far with in the industry.

Let's just say if you see in the next 5 to 10 years a western survival horror dealing with a US Marshall possessed by demons.....you'll know I've made it in the business.

FPS/RTS
set in the future (nearish)
1 guys on each team is in a Control vehicle and controls the Bots and support
the rest of the team is playing game like a normal Fps with vehicles guns etc...

Fps guys have to capture points to gain control points so the RTS commander can call in his Bots and support to help the FPS guys. A team wins when the enemy commander is dead.

im thinking cod4 FPS gameplay and END WAR RTS

Ps this the type of bots the comander can call in
light support

heavy support

Pretty much what I had in mind is a game where the protagonist becomes insane, you pretty much live the moments that lead to the protagonist becoming insane.
Sounds stupid but I'm still working on it.

Please I'd love someone to read this whole thing. I know it's kinda long-winded, but I just want some positive feedback on it.

Okay I've always loved to think about this game concept. or games to be precise. It's more of a mod system for a bunch of huge environments, but as an example lets use liberty city from GTAIV.

The idea is that there is a super flexible game engine that is distributed between all the big name publishers and developers as kind of a freeware style thing. Anyway, you could get a city or landscape of your choosing free with a new console like a PS3, saved to the HDD and with a multitude of slots to fill in i.e character models, a.i graphic filters, abilities, weapons etc. Then when you set up ur console on the net, you can download all of these different bits and pieces to add to the game and you can use as many or as few as you want. kinda like Lego.

The key aspect of this is microtransactions. So basically say EA can get some in-house devs to make an avatar and with that avatar comes most of his animations and movements (eg. running, walking, climbing, melee attacking, jumping and so forth). then you can say, download a civilian/population set, like zombies, or inner city civies to populate the world. or don't. Then you can download a bunch of different weapons and abilities, such as lightning powers like in inFamous, or a set of alien weapons and all of those weapons sets contain their own animation sets which interlock into your avatars animations. then do ones of enemies, weather, vehicles and stuff (maybe even whole environments, like a wasteland, or a jungle) and you can put together your own game to mess around in and have fun with. you could even download whole kits, like Little Big Planet, which have a bunch of sets (characters, a.i, civies, weapons, vehicles, abilities etc.) to make a whole game, including a story for you to follow as whatever character you like.

So you could be jumping around a jungle as a fire-slinging bus driver fighting zombies that act like 1940s gangsters.

yeah. The idea could be expanded a bit, but I think I has potential. Even if you just used it in one Producer, like EA, you could get spectacular results.

An RPG idea I've had for a while, based on a comic I used to write.
It's kinda like high school drama meets high fantasy. It's got magic, tech, demons, elves, alternate dimensions, a plot that developes quickly but doesn't suffer at all from the RPG midgame plot crawl (where the middle of the game has close to no plot development, I've seen this in several RPGs, this is usually around when most of the world is open to you and side quests become most accessible/attractive). Several battles in the midgame and one towards the end would involve staggeringly large armies and there would probably be a sudden genre change, probably RTS. The basic plot involves the capture of a special individual close to the protagonists to sacrifice to create a permanent rift into our world, enabling the big bad to absorb our dimension and gain the power to completely dominate his home dimension.
*Deep inhale* Well, that's that in a nutshell. Tried to make this game once, but I SUCK...SUCK...at game making programs...and my computer hates me when I try. If anyone wants to make this game...I'd totally write it and everything. That'd be awesome. Seriously.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems like it could be a massive, multigenre, customizable, and practical type of Scribblenauts.
...AWESOME!
lol I actually wasn't thinking of Scribblenauts, but now that you mention it, it is kinda! ^^
