Your Victory Music?

Having finally done my AS French exam this morning, I couldn't help but feel massive relief: it was the exam that I had dreaded the most because it is the subject in which I have had the most trouble with (because of my own laziness) in terms of revision.

Afterwards, I couldn't help but load up this song to savour the feeling of perseverance and victory of me surviving this trial by fire:


It had left me wondering as to what my fellow's music of 'victory would be, and thus we arrive at this thread:

What is your 'Victory' music?

It can be anything that you would listen to savour that emotion of survival, so do not hesitate in providing input!

'Yes' are actually an English prog rock band, the JJBA anime just uses it as the ending theme.

After turning in my very last project for my very last class on my very last day of college, I was biking toward my car feeling rather giddy (though the fact that I hadn't slept the night before probably had something to do with it) listening to my iPod on shuffle when this song started playing.


Granted, the opening line about black on black violence didn't really fit, but the rest certainly did!

Totally a cop out answer since it's a fact that this song goes with everything but hey. I've noticed that the Gurren Lagann guys have a thing for adding rap into one song that divides the entire community on whether it needed it, Libera me From Hell style. Gotta say as epic as the main bits are in those songs, there wouldn't be much to them post the first minute without the rap if you were to take it away.

Yes, its a damn simple loop but for a 7 year old beating the hardest Grand Prix for the first time this was the music of accomplishment. To this day, whenever overcome something that had been a real struggle, I hear this music in my head!
