Really, you worded your question poorly. What you're dealing with is ongoing stress, which tends to build up and make you feel like shit. But what you asked for is for people to share their worst singular day, which 9 times out of 10, will be far worse, but not ongoing. Compare having your face rubbed in faces once a day for a week, and being forced to eat it just once.

No doubt you're under a great deal of stress that has built up over a long period of time and that is definitely a serious matter, but if you ask people to compare one day of that to the absolute worst day of their lives, you just end up sounding like a whiny little *****.

OT: I watched a good friend of mine throw himself in front of a train, then found out that he left all of his worldly possessions to our friends and myself. feelsbadman.jpg

A friend i work with thought it would be funny to put onion powder on a sandwich he made for me at work, i don't think he imagined that i would end up at the hospital with hives and a swollen throat, the only thing that saved me was the Epipen i had for that very reason.

Watching 9-11 in person... absolutely nothing is more horrifying then that. I remember exactly what the people around me were screaming, the street I was on, the store I ran for my fucking life towards when the first tower collapsed in a gigantic column of smoke and debris, and watching charred and mangled corpses being pulled out in an attempt to look for survivors... I'm starting to get sick typing this.
I can't even imagine that.. i saw some breif clips from cellphone cameras, it was awful..

Ever have someone die in your arms while you were powerless to save them? It makes for more than one shitty day.

Years ago a girl I liked rejected me and I took it pretty bad, so I spend like a month deppresed (that plus my best friend's mom recent death, he had a rough year). Like two weeks later after she rejected me, I was coming home from college around 7 o clock (it's already dark at that hour) and I had to go through a sketchy area. unsurprisingly I got jumped by 3 guys who demanded my cellphone, which I gave up without resistance. They proceeded to smash my face and kick me on the ground for having a "low sense of property", I was lucky enough to get out of that alive with just minor wounds and a broken nose.

OK I need to vent before I get an aneurism. I'm in a routine of School Work and Home each pissing me off more then the last. At school I'm stuck with pot-heads and passive aggressive know-it-all's for 4 hours straight, at work I'm stuck with an deaf manager and the neediest frustrating customers I have ever met. Finally at home I'm stuck with a passive aggressive mother who wouldn't get out of bed when I can just get whatever she thinks she needs. All this and people still don't know why I spend the majority of my time playing Video games or M.T.G with the people I can actually stand to be around.
I would kill myself twice after a day like that.

I got hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat. Right after being hit by a car. Easily the most painful day of my life.

But hey, at least I didn't have to go to the hospital. Probably should have but didn't have to.

Wow OP
you sure got an assload of answers :)
where can I start...
(all of this within 24 hours mind you)
I was wrongly suspected of terrorism, got my door kicked in by 10 Gardai(4 of them armed,2 of them pointing their weapons at my face, things were complicated by the fact that I'm a lifelong martial artist and fan of IPSC(Practical Shooting)so basically my apartment looked like these dumb fucks had hit the jackpot,
where I'm from you can be interrogated for 72 hours with no access to the outside world,
my main concern after my arrest was to not let my family find out(lol when I look back on it)the cops played on that nonstop, little did I know that i was all over the papers so they all knew already...including my lovely Aunt(RIP Kathleen)who died as a result of the shock, and my Mum who had a heart attack as a result of the shock of both my incarceration and her sisters death(this was still all within the original 24 hours)

This is kinda outside of the 72 hours, but after the 3 days interrogation,as a result of me traveling A LOT(I'm a travel journalist) the cops decided I had something to hide, and was a fugitive risk so I was stuck in one of the nastiest shithole prisons on the planet for a further 3 weeks(over Xmas) during which time I was stabbed in the side for defending myself from a scumbag thief,to make it even more fun he was both HIV positive and Hep C contagious and bled profusely all over my open wounds(28 stitches) during the struggle.
Took six months for me to be sure I didn't contract either.
When I finally got released 3 weeks later I discovered that my apartment had been burgled, and flooded in my absence, completely wiping me out,so eh yeah Kid,life is a ***** sometimes, keep your head up :)

OP your day sounds like my average day. One of the bad days is when your brother shoots up heroin runs around with a knife slitting his wrist yelling "I WANT TO SEE SCOTTY" which is his friend that O.Ded. Guess who got to clean the blood off the walls.

I broke my leg (car hit) at age nine. I'd been in a fight a few minutes before.

Obviously, this doesn't beat some of you, but that's a big load on a kid.

The day my brother called and told me dad have had a stroke, fell and hit his head, which lead to permanent coma. Don't recall much of it, but I really don't care to.

When I was 15 my stepfather pulled out a gun after he got into a fight with my mother on the day we were celebrating my upcoming 16th birthday (celebrating early because my elder brother was leaving in a few days to move back to california). He sat there with the gun on the arm rest of his chair somehow getting it into his head that he had to protect himself from my brother...who had left to stay the night with a bachelor friend of his cause my brother and step dad don't get along.

I had to call my brother to come to the house and talk to him through the screen over my bedroom window while he called the police to come and confiscate the gun. My mother stayed at the house while I went with my brother to his bachelor friends house. I spent the night in this friend's house, sleeping in this friend's bed (by myself of course and while it was nice of him to offer, I'm 15. I'm old enough to know what a 23 year old guy does with and without girl's in his bed so it wasn't pleasant, but it did seem the bed was clean) wondering if my mother was going to be hurt in the morning.

So yeah...that's my family and one of the worst, scariest, and most embaressing nights of my life. And before anyone asks, there was NO alcohol involved.
