My computer flipped me the bird one time.

I was trying to install WoW, and apparently my computer was part of the cool crowd and didn't want to be associated with anything like that so it flipped me off and threw a lit cigarette at me. So I drop-kicked it in the face/monitor.


Translation:
flipped me off = shut down completely
threw a lit cigarette at me = refused to load back up.
drop-kicked it in the face/monitor = sold it for parts.

I had a remote control for the TV that had the buttons messed up, so that whatever button you want to press, you actually end up pressing the one below and to the right at the same time...

Whenever my phone rings my internet cuts off ......

dont know why or how but i do know that if i open the phone line so no one can ring it wont cut out

remember once having the phone line open for 6hours when wiping on muru

i left my phone at my friends house and when i got it back i found out that he had called everyone in my phonebook and i was billed £200

Technology is making life a lot easier, but it often chooses very inopportune times to not work.

if you have dsl then you need to put a filter on your telephone and not the dsl line

as for me my worst time with tech happens lots, i setup a nice network with computers, routers, switches, hubs, printers and all that nice stuff and then people come in and want to actually use the computers and it goes downhill from there

It sounds like you are lucky.
I got mine December 2007 and I sent it off for repair earlier this week.

Me and computers don't tend to mix well. I tend to end up fighting with MS Word quite a lot as well, it likes to change things in my work for me.

Something with my old PC though, it would be fine whenever I used it, but if one of my friends were to come round and use it, it decided it would be fun to just crash everytime they tried to do something. Needless to say, that computer now sits in the corner of my room unused.

I installed a new graphics card in my computer so I could run my games without the system going all Durrr on me. Well for starters the computer refused to recognize the new card and when i finally got it working my games still didn't run until I opened it up and vacuumed the whole darn thing from the inside out.

But at least its over...until I have to clean it out again...ugh
