Well, since someone already snatched The Battle for Everyone's souls from Persona 3 I'll go with that
<youtube=N0KGRjTIa7I>
Oh yeah, epic, dramatic, and kinda touching battle theme. It suits perfectly some kind of 1 on 1, brother on brother battle.

Alternatively, if I'll have to face a group of goodies, i'll go with this
<youtube=GusLypfx7OQ>
Bring it ON!

I like Archangel and Black Blade, don't get me wrong, but if I'm going to have a final boss theme and it's going to be by TSFH...

Would do that for if I was the hero, sounds a bit too cheerful otherwise. Of course if this was oceanic battle as opposed to a land battle I'd have to give it to...
TSFH is too good at this sort of stuff =P

TSFH is just damn good, period. They make awesome music...which makes me wonder why some game companies don't hire these people to perform for them as part of their soundtrack.

I'd pick wither of these two, the latter could be used early or midgame like a brief introduction to the threat they're facing, while the former is definitely meant for the final encounter.

Criminally underrated soundtracks, criminally underrated games (fuck graphics, the gameplay was top notch)

It depends on the tone of the game.
If it was a serious game it would be this:

Sorry for the lack of video

If it wasn't so serious...

The vault door locks behind the heroes. And they look around their vaguely pentagonal prison. I leap down from the mud ceiling, which is held up with long wooden rafters, like an overgrown mineshaft, startling my now-captive audience. I'm holding a metal crossbow, with a drum magazine of bolts tipped with enchanted crystals. My agility in this incarnation is unmatched, I can fly, somehow, with a jetpack or something or giant bug wings...

Basically, my minions are Headsprouters (who, also, grow from ceilings) who swarm my opponents and explode on death, coating the ground in slippery blood, slowing their movements to help my aim!

Oh, and my battle music? What else other than this!

Actually, now that I think about it, this fight is kind of like the fight with Master Gee in Borderlands 2...minus the acid-coated floor. I'd rather turn the floor into an ice-rink. And people hate that. LOL!!! I'd be the most frustrating boss, ever!

Maybe because I've been on a Shadow of the Colossus bent lately, I think my boss battle music would have to start off along the lines of Demise of the Ritual (16th colossus music) and slowly evolve into this as you whittle my health down:

(Was going to be a video embed, turns out I don't know how to do that :S)

I'd go with this:
I plan on them listening to my theme music and commiting suicide.
A cunning plan, befitting an efficient German like yourself.

However, the allure of total badassery means I'd go with this:

or this:

Seriously, nothing tells you you're up shit creek like the latter song.

If I was pressed and had to decide on something to underline that I am a BADASS ************

Followed by this
and in the highly likely event of my victory, I will treat you, the unlucky heroes to this:

Should you, against all odds, manage to overcome me, you will be played this triumphant tune:
Because you just wouldn't be respectable as a 6'8" German if you didn't listen to Rammstein.

And yes, I know my songs are badass. :p

I see it thusly:
If I was to adhere to national stereotypes, I have two possibilities:
1. I devise a cunning strategy, full of mindgames and trickery that will drive my enemies to insanity and have them kill themselves.
2. I say screw subtlety and use the good ol' brute force method. Because if you can't solve your problems with violence, you aren'T using enough of it yet. For this approach, there is Rammstein.

The overture to Mozarts "Le Nozze di Figaro". The best soundtrack to beat some perspective into a buch of angsty teenagers.

Well, if I had to choose from videogame music, then this:
damn ninjas... Hmm. Now I'm stumped. what to do, oh what to do...

Well, I could always go with this on loop:
The final fight would be a silent-movie style car chase in the 1920s. It'd sure throw the player for a loop when he realizes that all the leveling he has done up until now was utterly meaningless along with the complete change of genre from RPG to some kind of driving simulator.

Might be a bit dramatic, but I've always loved this song as a final boss song. Using it at the end of my most recent D&D campaign :p

Okay my first form would have this playing:

But my second form in which the hero has been dragged into his own mind (because TWIST the boss was him all along) this plays:
