You need to earn the right to use that as your theme song.
Dude, we're the final boss. In this scenario, we have in fact earned the right to use any song as our final boss battle song. Considering this thread is based upon a hypothetical situation in which we are now the final encounter in an entire game, meaning we are the final, ultimate test of the Heroes' resolve and strength, I would assume that any and all of the people posting here have more than earned the right to use any song they picked, simply based upon the hypothetical situation the OP has put us in.

I may not have actually earned the right myself, but Final Boss Requiem sure has.

I lack the ambition to be a final boss. I'm more like that optional boss you never beat.
We have much in common, Alexander Piulitzer and I.
I can't sleep and Youtube is my only friend.
One more, because Hiruzen is a manly man...

I would choose this

or

And for no other reason than it amuses me, I'd have this play every time they lost to me.

Being a boss fight does not mean I have to be a villain. There are plenty of secondary heroes that have achieved boss fight status with the main character of whatever game you're currently playing. The Protomans, the Julius Belmonts, ect.

Therefore I reserve that right as a heroic-boss-fight, as I am never about doom and chaos but more of class and wit. I'm not the final boss, but I will be the damnedest boss you'll fight in the entire game that tests all the skill and resources you've acquired up until now just to prove you have what it takes to get to end-game. I will be the boss you remember.

You know, maybe I just have a thing for the stylishly-dressed badass rivals to the good-natured main characters.

Who knows.

This isn't the best version, but I can't seem to find that one. This song has been lurking on my phone for ages, and every time I listen to it I get this great fight seen in my head of a Castlevania-esque castle on a mountain, and it ends up sliding down with the combatants still going fast at it as the stage falls apart and eventually crashes. It's really exciting in my mind.

My music would just be Rodney Anonymous ranting about whatever. I guess we could have the bass too, but random nonsense would work on it's own as well.

Might need to change or remove the audio clips, but I'll take this classic. Which makes me wonder why there isn't a Highlander game by now

Or if I want to really discomfort the typical gamer, I'll throw this at them

Pure evil, pants-shitting fear time? I'd go with this one:
The intro music would be before the actual fight begins, build tension x)
Oh hey, my choice is a Gojira song too. =3

Well, this should be easy. This on repeat, because we don't want those pesky protagonists to -win- now would we?

They'll give up soon enough.

Although I can never see myself as THE villain I would go with something like this.

The music is probably set up favoring the heroes but isn't all boss battle music usually like that at one point.
Usually Two Steps from Hell would work or something similar.

lol that works but id rather go with "strength of a thousand men"

Edit: dam cant get it to embed:(

My first phase is unwinnable, naturally, and the good guys know it. I take no joy in this challenge-less victory and therefore the music is mournful and slow.
In my second phase, the heroes have received their full potential, and the fight begins in earnest. The music rises in anticipation.
Finally, I am forced to reveal my fullest power in all its majesty. My angelic wings spread wide, golden light rains down from the heavens, and the chorus.....
and it...

This is stupid.

My final boss theme would be
because why the hell not. Who cares what the heroes want to listen to? THIS IS MY WORLD, MY WORLD!!!!

Hopefully my assailants would be too distracted rocking the fuck out to actually attack me.

Then, BAM! BLOOOOODTOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRSSSSST!!!! I'd have to be a viking-themed boss though, otherwise it wouldn't be quite so intensely, erotically brilliant.

The party enters my chambers, cleanly swept stone floors and slick marble walls greeting them. A simple comfy chair sits at the heart of the room with a candelabra beside it. I look up from the book I'm reading and smile, "All this way just for little old me? I feel truly special. So much so, that I shall grant you a boon: leave now and I will allow you to remain alive."

When they refuse (as they always do), I close my book and sigh, "Such a shame that heroes never learn. Then again, to do that, they'd have to live to tell the tale, wouldn't they?"

The doors slam behind them as candles go out and a loud buzzing fills the air. Eyes sparkle in the expansive darkness. And a smile shines before them as the music swells, speaking with teeth sharp as razors and just as inviting, "Know pain."

When they fall to my barrage of madness and devouring mouths, only my profile will be seen, still smiling. "Delicious."

Should they survive and, dare I think it, damage me enough to cause lasting harm, I will stagger into the light and whisper, "Such strength. Let us see if you have speed to match." As I collapse, my chambers will crumble, and as they fly to escape, this song will chase them.

While almost every song in DMC3 I would choose to be my boss music at one point or another, this one's a particular favorite of mine.

Warning, melodrama, a crap ton of text and 3 videos ahead. Also my apologies, I couldn't get the spoiler tags to work right for the videos.

Upon the Heroes finally making it to me after going through sheer hell, I would turn to face them, narrow my eyes at them, then walk over to a bloody massive sword hanging from the wall and pick it up. The Heroes would demand to know why I did the things I did, to which I would simply reply "You don't need to know", then this would begin playing.

My fighting style would be purely physical, I would relentlessly advance on the Heroes regardless of what they hit me with and any strikes I land would send them flying back and deal heavy damage. At 50% health I would place an unremoveable buff on myself that boosts my physical damage even further. Upon being beaten my sword would break, I would be bleeding a bit and the music would fade out.

After wiping the blood from my face and tossing aside the broken sword I'd grin and crypticly say "Could you be the ones?" Then, after looking at the Heroes confused expressions for a second I would hold my arm out in front of me, a ominous black and red flash would emit from my hand which would rapidly twist into the form of a longer than usual Katana. Then this would begin playing.

My fighting style in this form/phase would be a mixture of physical and magical attacks, I would also move much faster and attack more rapidly, though due to the lighter weapon I would not deal as much damage, nor would my attacks be able to send any of the Heroes across the room, essentially my style would switch from raw power, to skill and speed. At 50% health I would begin using various debuffs on the Heroes in addition to physical and magical attacks.
At 25% health I would begin using a rushing attack that, if it connects, would instakill one of the Heroes. If said rushing attack misses however I would be somewhat vulnerable as I recover. Upon being being beaten in this form/phase my blade would be knocked out of my hand and I would be knocked back several feet, landing hard on my back. My blade would embed itself into the ground missing my head by no more than an inch or two and the music would fade out.

After struggling to get back to my feet I would be battered, bloody, and barely able to stand, using my blade to steady myself. The Heroes would declare that the fight is over, as I'm no longer able to fight and barely able to even stand up. Partially blinded from the blood in one of my eyes I would look at the Heroes, the confidence gone from my face, replaced instead by a look of resignation.
With some effort I would pull my blade from the ground then stumble towards the Heroes, who now look reluctant to fight as they would be in essence attacking a man who is already beaten. As I stumble towards them, barely able to stay on my feet, I would say "You're not finished yet." Then this would begin playing.

My fighting style, if you could call it that, would be purely magical as I barely have the strength to move. I would cover myself in a barrier that protects me from harm, both physical and magical, though the barrier itself would shatter upon taking enough damage, allowing me to be attacked until I could restore it. I would cast various buffs on myself, debuffs on the Heroes and use various elemental and non-elemental spells to attack. However as my skills lie more with my physical nature, my attacks will do the least damage compared to my previous form/phases, also as I am already greatly weakened my health will be less as well. At 25% health I would begin using a powerful spell that, if it connects, deals heavy damage and places an unremoveable debuff on one of the Heroes. This spell would also greatly damage my barrier.
At 5% health I would begin preparing a final spell that, if I succeed in casting, would instakill all the Heroes, however if the Heroes manage to shatter my barrier the spell will backfire and finish me off.

Upon being defeated the energy in that final spell will destroy my blade and most of my body, leaving me lying on the ground. The Heroes will look down at me, regretting that it went this far as I choke out my last words, "Thank you."
