That is all.
By far. Hilarity, useful things, and wrecked game files came from that glitch. What more can you ask from glitch.
A level 128 Snorlax? Oh, wait, the glitch ALREADY does that. So, no, you cannot ask any more of this glitch. It is perfect.

Rag-doll phsyics are commonly something I come across as glitching badly, limbs streching out for about half a mile, bodies getting stuck in bad positions. one recent encounter on AC:brotherhood online, I assassinated a player with the priest persona rooftop too ground (incognito, acrobat, aerial bonus) and as a wee reward the game glitched his head halfway down into a wall, while leaving his corpse standing bent over as thought it knew what'd just happened...if I hadn't've had two people after me I would've stuck around for the tea-bagging of the decade.

Who discovered that glitch anyway?

Probably this glitch where I spawned as a EU soldier at the EU spawn but was on the PAC side in Battlefield 2142.
Also the 2 Altairs Glitch that allows you to assassinate yourself in Assassins Creed.

Probably the pokemon red/blue item multiplying glitch, as others mentioned, or Novalogic various failed attempted to make ladders work right... In at least two of the games there were ways to go flying up the ladders insanely fast.

Swingset glitch in GTA IV. Man, I've had some good hours of fun with my buddies, launching cars through New York.

Sometimes in Gears of War 2 in Horde dead enemies would start spinning and flipping around as rag dolls for no reason. Like, they would just be sitting there, and they would start whipping around (by their head usually) in random directions. It was greatly amusing and resulted in many wipes as I became completely distracted and didn't call out the incoming in the area I was guarding.

Oh man, I remember this one:

Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie Game. There was a level, I believe it was called "Three... Thousand Miles to Shell City". There was one point, where you had to jump across a 'goo' lake using trampolines and small islands.

Off to the left there was one random island, and if you jumped off of this island, at the right angle, into the right spot in the goo, you'd fall through the ground, and into the empty space.

Oh man, that was the best. You couldn't do much, aside from spin. But the colours would blend, and mix, and they'd take little like pictures of where you were fractions of a second earlier and overlap them, it looked trippy. I could do that glitch on command, it was awesome.

More of an exploit than a glitch, but the duplication glitch in Oblivion is pretty awesome. You just need a bunch of scrolls, and you can duplicate basically anything. Works really well for arrows, health potions, and lock picks.

Red Dead Redemption had a lot of hilarious mis-skins: like bird-men and horse-cougars. When the game released the forums were ablaze with rumors of a bigfoot somewhere in the woods by Blackwater, complete with blurry screen captures and everything. I suspect the whole thing was started by accidentally putting a wolf skin on a cougar, or a bear or something like that. Such good times.....

You can also do that glitch with a sword and some arrows.

OT: One time when I was playing Modern Warfare 2, I was using a riot shield and after I killed someone the top half of my body was bended back while my legs were still normal(this was third person mode). Imagine a spy crab but bending it's back backward.

It only happened one time, but for that short few minutes I was highly amused. I was in Lothering in DA:O, and I'd told Leliana to go pick a locked chest while we went off to the next segment of the town. When she came back, her model was frozen in a running position, one leg up off the ground behind her. I tried tinkering with it but she went back to normal. Then there's the time in the forced fade dungeon where, after killing "Flemeth", I talked to Morrigan again and watched a headless flemeth yell at her and smack her. I couldn't breath through the laughter.

I don't know if tactics from Super Smash Bros. Melee such as wave dashing and L-Canceling count as glitches or technical exploits.
Then of course there were all those Gears of War glitches like crab walking and kung-fu flipping that were pretty fun.
