Three southeast Missouri high school students have been accused of videotaping an assault on another teenager and then posting the videotape online.

The Daily American Republic reported that three Dexter teenagers face juvenile charges in Stoddard County of second and third-degree assault, as well as criminal responsibility.

They're accused of using duct tape to bind the victim, then punching and kicking the victim several times. Police said they're also accused of burning and urinating on the victim, also a teenager, while the attack was videotaped.

Police said the video was then posted on YouTube.

The three have been scheduled for detention hearings Friday before Juvenile Judge Joe Satterfield, who will decide whether the teens would remain in custody or be released.

Personaly i would say keep them in custody and send them somewhere horrible so this stuff can happen to them.

What are your thoughts

This doesn't happen on the Internet. People post it on the Internet, which lets the victims get help or justice. These sort of beatings happen all the time, and used to be more common, but now people can't get away with it so easily.

If I was getting the crap beaten out of me, the perpetrators stupidly sharing video evidence around for everyone to see would be the best thing that's ever happened to me. I hope this trend of thugs documenting their crimes continues.

Yeah, they should be locked up, as duct taping and beating up someone hardly constitutes lawful behaviour now does it? Though you would think that they would have had more sense and not videotaped themselves assaulting the teenager and posting it on youtube, I mean what did they think was going to happen? that they were going to get away with it? people are so stupid sometimes. I really do hope from the bottom of my heart that the victim gets all the help that they need.

lol, just like the guy who stole stuff, took a picture of himself stealing it, then sent the picture to the people he stole it from.

I hope we keep seeing stuff like this, it's rather hilarious.

I would say reabilitation is much more important than punishment. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I seem to remember that, a few days ago, while I was looking through the comments section of the "Casey piledriving a bully" video on another site, I came across a comment that said something like "There's this little dipshit at school who always acted tough because he knew his friends would stand up for him even though he was a weakling himself, so he went about acting like a moron bothering everyone all the time. Finally some people snapped and duct-taped him to a light-post and started punching him. They even peed on him."

This couldn't possibly be the same incident?
