I tried uploading a video to youtube with the avi format. To my surprise it didn't work. What. The. Hell? I thought avi was fine for youtube. In fact I've uploaded many avi videos to youtube under many different accounts. What happened?

Browser I use a lot of different browsers but tonight it was google chrome.
Video was recorded using XFire.
