YouTube: Videos Getting Dislikes? Help!!!

This is all easily fixed with a better mic and attitude towards the video. Also, I did a poll on this forum asking people what gaming videos they like to watch, the top one was Let's Plays through any video games with commentary - nothing special. Now, it's fine that you don't think that video is impressive - but different people like different things. I have no idea what other types of videos to make - Let's Plays are fun and easy to do - but it's good that you mentioned that I didn't sound enthusiastic. As for my annoying voice...well what can I do about that?

Well find a gimmick, play a game in a way that most people wouldnt, try do a speedrun, roleplay and never break character, theres a lot you can do to make yourself noticed. And also killing 40 guards in Skyrim really isnt impressive, even on Master difficulty, one reason for this is that Skyrim's combat is fairly boring to watch, If you did something like get a massive killstreak on CoD, or kill 40 something enemies on a game like Ninja Gaiden without getting hit once, then thats rather impressive. If you really want to sound more enthusiastic maybe find a friend who also likes Skyrim and do a Lets Play where both of you talk about the game, that way theres more conversation going and more potential for funny and memorable moments

No I havent actually, I just thought of Ninja Gaiden because that game was hard as balls, balls made of fucking steel, I would've used Dark Souls or Demon's Souls as an example but combat in those games is fairly slow as well

My brain went "Badassery... Ninja gaiden black" and there was a no damage play through, so I thought you might have searched for it XD

Thanks for the great advice, me and a friend are thinking of doing a Dual Skyrim Let's Play when a good Online Mod comes out for it.

Telling people to like your videos isn't actually a great way to make them like it. Liking a video should be a genuine sentiment, not a coerced response to an order.

One of your videos instructed me to "Like for 13:38 video length?". As it happens, I feel that 13:38 is too long for most Youtube videos, let alone a game that I don't have much interest in, so logically the only other option available is to dislike it (as per your instructions).

Another video suggested that I "Like for Calder's awesome dancing". Again I didn't agree with that, so there was only one option available to me.

If you set a criteria for liking something, then the only option for someone who doesn't 100% agree with that criteria is to dislike it.

If you don't appear so desperate to get likes and don't set strict criteria for getting those likes, then perhaps people will find their own things about your videos to genuinely like, or at least they won't be bound by logic to dislike it because they disagree with the order in the description.

Again, thanks for the advice, I didn't really know that it came off as cocky or needy asking for likes. I'm going to change all of that stuff now.
