everybody knows about youtube. people make videos every day. but whats the point in some videos? like those that have a title that is like 9/11 truth or something and ends up like a screaming face. and anime videos there are sites made for streaming like veoh or megavideo so whats the point of making a 1/3 part anime video??? also yes i know there is Smosh and Nigahiga

Its just a medium for people to upload crap onto so they can feel good about there pointless creations. I personaly hate youtube and beleive that a sensor should be put in place because the amount of crap on there is appauling. But I use it becuase its the easiest way to get music, funny videos, films, and standup shows. The same way I hate google but I use it because it has a massive database.

i used to like youtube but now its so bogged down with crap that finding the good stuff is nearly impossible and just to much hard work. If i want interesting vids i normally go to snotr.com its much better

it use it for things like music vids, random crap and seeing what people with too much free time and no social life do to occupy themselves. other than that there are plenty of other places to get films etc in better quality and in full.

I rather like the ready availability of entertaining &/or thoughtful videos.
Naturally, there's a lot of crap there as well, and I'm starting to think that they should just cut clean through & disable comments everywhere.

I said in a thread before, there should be a place on youtube where you have to be a partner or trusted poster to upload to a certain section. They should call it an officers club! So when you want to watch something, and you no its legit, search 'officers club only'.

I totally agree. Put all the crap on one site so that the other ones dont get shitty. But I use youtube sometimes, I mean... It's not that bad, if you dont search for like "W0w 1337 skillz1!1"

Yes, it is kinda pointless to do that. But there are kids who don't know where to find good anime, everybody knows about youtube, as you said.

I like YouTube. I don't really mind sifting through the crap, since I know that eventually I'll find something truly great.

Youtube does have some great things on it.

It's one of the few places where I can watch Tool Assisted videos of games without spending a few days trying to find and download a specific ROM and Emulator to watch it on my computer.

The only problem I have with Youtube is that there's no option to remove comments.(not a delete button, but a profile setting that makes the comments invisible)

I agree, the internet as a whole can been seen the exact same way. There are billions of crap sites out there. But if your are smart resourceful you know how to search for the gems hiding amidst the crap.

What're you talking about? That was pretty funny.

Youtube is fantastic for numerous reasons and is even great to just type in random words and search things with your friends. It's amazing some of the things people have uploaded. I'm not really seeing what the hate is about. Seems like there's plenty of other things in the world to complain about.

The worst part of youtube is the comment section where 8 year olds use it as their experimentation with swear words. But pretend like that section isn't there and it's good ol' fun.
