I can't help but feel the comment system on Youtube should be removed. By all means, the video rating is a good idea, but the comments are ridiculous - 70% of them are utter bollocks about ghosts coming to cut out your spleen if you don't copy and paste, and another 25% are people psyching out at one another over sweet fa, which really doesn't leave much room for feedback for the people making the videos.

I only use YouTube for 2 reasons: Music videos and Ray William Johnson. I stay away from most of the scum. Just like not everyone should have a mic online, not everyone should have a camera.

It's pretty good when bored, and when looking for videos of a specific kind, it's almost always the first place to look.

B) finding someone to send them some files

3). Misleading people - (I want to watch Top Gear, not you playing with an RC Mini Cooper)
4). "We're no strangers to love" - (those five words are forever burned into my mind)
5). Quit posting your personal opinions and passing them off as fact - (you only show the world just much of a pillock you truly are)
6). "I JUST WANT TO WATCH FULL METAL JACKET!!!!" - (not your shitty re-enactment)
7). Bad AMVs - (they speak for themselves)
8). I-I...I..... *collapses on the floor and foams at mouth*

It's very useful, has some brilliant videos for all kinds of needs (entertainment, information etc.)

It also has some of the highest concentrations of stupid available anywhere on the internets.

I'm quite addicted to Youtube. I watch music videos, dance and choreography, dragon boating and kayak instruction, favourite moments from TV and movies (anything with Chow Yun-Fat in it!) stand-up comedy, and video messages between my friends and I.

Edit to add: How-to vids, from photoshop tutorials to help installing the kayak rack on my car.
