So most of us spend a bit of time on Youtube right? stop kidding yourself you know you do. Lately after reading the comments section it seems like every thing on Youtube is the best thing ever, it used to be that every thing was a fail, fag, crap or some other insult and now it seems to me that they cant express how awesome the video is. Is this just me or have you noticed it as well? What trends have you guys noticed?

He left this comment on my profile solely because I advised others to simply not respond to his insults:

Most people are just looking for an argument, like today I found a comment on my video which read "Dragonforce sucks dicks!", which wouldn't have bothered me if the video had anything at all to do with Dragonforce, the video is a creepy version of the duet between Spongebob and Mr Krabs.

I once had a flame war with a person on youtube. I remember his name, but I won't say it.

I tried to comment on a video of "Mr. Roboto" because I had never heard the whole song before. I kinda liked it, but made some critical remarks about the video being a little lame or the singing was very anguishy or somesuch. I posted it as politely as possible, and this guy calls me a ****** and I don't know anything about music.

Things got really funny when he used the word "you're" in the correct context, and I congratulated him for it, because a lot of people don't differentiate between "your" and "you're". I was being condescending, but honest. He thought I was being sarcastic, and said that I just made myself look like a moron for correcting him. I said "Yes, I know you used it correctly. That's why I congratulated you."

I was polite every single time. He was a jerk every single time. Needless to say, comments on youtube are hardly ever worth paying attention to.

When people are pretty much admitting that they're several flavors of dumbass, you should let them. It makes their comments not irritating, but funny. Consider... Does any troll ever have brains beyond talking nonsensical shit? So, when they make themselves look like idiots - and it happens often - why not clap for the moron in a condescending way? It's like...they saw you need to force a dog's nose into a pile of their own crap to keep them from shitting on the rug. Personally, I never liked that, but these are people we hate, so stomp them into that shit, man! Be proud to be evil!

If you watch any war-related videos, it seems like an anomolous amount of Americans have served in the military, giving them the right to swear and verbally abuse everyone and anyone they see giving even the slightest hint that the war may not have been 100% well recieved. Often you will see something like "I put on the uniform to protect the world from [insert developing nation with very little military capability] for f***ers like you, you make me sick. God bless me and everyone else that serves"
I'm british, so obviously thick, have bad teeth and can't go three minutes without declaring a love for crumpets (I hope you can spot irony), so I don't know - how many US citizens usually serve in the army? I am sure that this is just trolls taking advantage of the fact that I don't know for sure who they are, but I'd like the make sure via intellectual people
