I was thinking of ways to make this poetic, along the lines of

"First they were bought by google, but I did not speak up because I liked google" but then I just got tired of working out a few more scenerios.

Any who,

Youtube, I love it...usually...but I have found a new hate. I was a bit upset when commercials first came out, but it was ok, because I understand that money is a good thing, and if I have to wait maybe 10 to 25 seconds for an ad so that everything can be upgraded, great, more power to ya.

That is...until I realized, that I have to sit through a 3 minute long ax lounge commercial to watch any more videos, after seeing about 3 random things on Youtube.

Last I checked, Youtube is not an infomercial. If I WANTED to watch 3 minutes of whatever it is your showing, I would look up 3 minutes of whatever it is your showing.

Now that I've let that little bit out, has anyone else had an trouble with Youtube, related or not to my particular issue?

I have noticed that the ads are getting ridiculous, even on videos that I used to watch which never had them in the first place, can be a bit of a grind.

I guess user comments get me down at times too, all it takes is one man making a point in order to spawn a 15 page or so argument that usually ignores the origional gripe and decends into the depths of racism, homophobia, idiocy, religious intolerance, nerd wars, nationalism ect.
That annoys me more really

I never get ads on Youtube, maybe its just the channel you are watching.

Anything with over 100,000 views shows an ad. Some are skip-able. I have never seen a 3 minute ad after watching in between vids...

Anything??? That is odd, because the lonely island videos, one of which has 100 MILLION views, shows no adds.

I haven't EVER seen an add on youtube actually.

This! Though I wouldn't necessarily call nationalism a bad thing. Feeling pride or finding inspiration from your national identity is anything but stupid. It's the fanatical idiots who thinks his/her own culture/country is superior to all other cultures/countries that can be a real pain in the ass.

That annoys you? I think it's hilarious. The amount of idiots and/or trolls on youtube makes it one of the most arguementative (and therefore funny) sites out there.

OT: Ads aren't really that bad on youtube all things considered
