This is why you and me are the REAL world conquerors. Economics controls the countries, all those armed revolutions are just bookkeeping. Violent bookkeeping, but bookkeeping.

Uh, no? That's a disadvantage. Numbers wise, the Coast Guard and National Guard could probably take on most European countries alone. The Marines are big enough to fight a war on their own.

And don't forget that when you finally reach US soil, you'll have American aircraft carriers and nuclear subs ready to surround you.

Those firearms are not an advantage. The Afghanis had/have AKs, PSLs/SVDs, some Stingers, RPKs, a few HK G3s, Enfields and Mosin Nagants and they were able to kick Russia's bum. Then the Taliban were able to fight the US military for over a decade, not allowing the US to retain control of 100% of the country.

You will be like Russia in Afghanistan. Like the US in Vietnam. But this time the underdog has both low-tech and high-tech weaponry.

Well I was thinking about the likelihood of someone intervening and decided that Iran would be the perfect target. First I'll sow the seeds of discontent in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq encouraging them to see that war with Iran is the only way. Then I'll cripple them along the Persian gulf through the use of attacks, attributed to the works of Pirates. Then when they realise they cannot get supplies through the three bigger countries I stated and try to push their way out militarily, I'll use my superior Airforce and army and intervene in Humanitarian way. No one gets angry at them, I plant a puppet government that sells the country to me and boom, got me Iran.

1. Did I specify which countries? Europe is pretty big and has smaller, poorer countries. The US Marines alone outnumber my country's forces by about 2.7~3x
2. >training sessions. There's your problem. They are not a representative of real world situations.
3. Navy =/= Coast Guard and National Guard.
4. The US Navy still has superiority in numbers.
