You've hogtied a person in Red Dead Redemption. What do you do?

It may be some random hooker, some annoying highwayman, or a criminal who has pissed you off for the past half hour. Either way, you've hogtied him or her. What do you typically do in this situation? Do you punch him around and let him go? Put him onto railroad tracks and wait for the pink mist? Or maybe just shoot him in the face point blank with a shotgun or sniper rifle?

Usually what I do is put him on my horse and leave him in an area where there are a bunch of cougars or bears, or, if he really pissed me off (like the blackjack dealer or an assassination target who's killed me ten too many times), I let him run away for a little while before sniping him in the head right before he makes it to freedom.

Put him in a carriage with other people I have tied up, and put that carriage on the railroad tracks.

Put them on a horse, then ride that horse over a cliff.
What? It's just a virtual horse.

I like grabbing guys with the lasso from horseback and then just drag them along until they die.

It's a little technique I like to call the "Carlos Mendoza"

Oh, the Brotherhood soo deserved getting destroyed after that.
They kill one of mine, I bring down their entire organization.
Fair trade, I think.

Depends on my mood. If I'm feeling particularly nasty, I'll just leave them in the wildness, along with some nearby bait, and enjoy the show. Other times I might release them and fistfight them till I end up knocking them down a cliff, or I get bored and knife them.

I either leave them in the middle of nowhere and don't untie them, or I drag them and watch them bounce off rocks and bits of railroad.

I like to send them on a magical mystery tour.

I put the hogtied person on my horse, then I use a Horse Deed to select another horse and whistle for it, which causes my current horse (with it's hogtied passenger) to attempt to leave my sight and disappear from the game world.

However, I keep it in my sight by following it on my new horse, so it can never leave the game world and it just runs around aimlessly in an attempt to lose me.

It's pretty funny because the horse will pretty much stick to the roads, but doesn't have much awareness of hazards like trains, fire-fights and crossfire or hostile wildlife.

It's hilarious watching some poor guy hogtied and powerless on the back of a runaway horse, totally at the mercy of it's whims and no apparent sense of direction as it tries to leave the map without me seeing it disappear.

The funniest time was when I ended up following a pack of barking wolves following the hogtied person on the back of my glitchy horse trying to escape my vision... all that way missing was 'Yackety Sax'. It was funny right up until the horse wandered in front of a train and exploded, along with the hogtied person, and then the wolves turned around and started chasing me.

The Undead Nightmare DLC allows you to do a few more things with people, in fact you're almost forced to be more creative since you can't untie people once you've hogtied them (as you don't have a knife).

I like to do the same thing mentioned above, but send them on a true Magical Mystery Tour through Zombie territory on the back of a Unicorn that leaves a sparkling rainbow in it's wake.

Another thing you can do in UN is to put them on your horse and gallop through one of the many fires, which will ignite and burn the poor sap on your horse and look really epic as you gallop around, leaving a trail of burning person in your wake (until he dies and falls off).
