Since it would seem no one else has done a review of this game...
Setting: ZenoClash is set in a Fantasy Punk work, where you can be fighting a lunatic with fish guns.
Controls: They are a bit clunky to first figure out if you are the typical FPS junkie like myself, but once you have mastered them, they are fun an intuitive.
Gamestyle: It would seem I forgot to mention what type of game it is, in that case: It is a first person brawler. With that stated, most of the time you will be punching and kicking your opponents into submission.
The game picks up with you learning your basic kicks and punch combos, and you learn more as time goes by. The game is remarkably fun once you are fighting, but the whole cut scene-fight-cut scene-fight does get a little tedious at times. There are some detection issues with the heavy weapons, and guns at times, with does make them feel clunky, but luckily the focus is on fist fighting. The guns are slow and almost clunky in general, but it fits and each gun reloads realistically, and your enemies are all too keen on taking it from you. This adding even more to the already frantic fights. The story mode is pretty short, 5-6 hours, and I beat it in a day. The achievements do encourage replays though, but there have been bugs in both the Heavy Brawler and Animal Cruelty achievements (which is far from a deal breaker seeing as there are 50 and more coming). The promise from ACE team of free DLC adding more challenge towers makes the longevity even greater than it was before, and it is fun to hop into a quick brawl in challenge mode, hurt some people, then play some TF2 with my friends. The is not a hardcore game it would seem, but it can be unforgiving at times, especially on the hardest level. But to me that's fine, otherwise there would be no challenge at all. I found the story mode to be a little too easy, but that's just me. I have heard people saying that the easiest mode is too hard. My recommendation is to play the demo on Steam, then get if you like it. For being only $20, it is definitely one of the better deals on Steam.
Overall: The game has tight controls, a decent (if confusing), story, and is overall a memorable experience that I highly recommend. I give it an 8.5
