Well aren't I going indie with two indie reviews in a row? Well all right, I couldn't be bothered reviewing a full game, leave that to the professionals for now. And there's not many people reviewing the little games so why not?

Anyway, Avatar Drop, what can i say? You drop your avatar down a randomly generated playing field trying to get them to fall through 3 different types of coloured rings while navigating big yellow ballons (and the odd green one that fights back). That's all there is to it.

Is it challenging? Not at all. Is it fun? Erm for about 5 games then it's jus boring.

There's not much content here. I'd say download the demo. The full game is not that different apart from you can add other randomly generated avatars to race you, or you can play with friends. Both are just as boring as each other. Basically the slower you are the more likely you are to win as whoever is last through a ring gets the points from it.But too slow and it drops you to the front of the race. This quickly turns a relaxing game to frustration. It's quite glitchy too. Don't be suprised if your avatar gets magically stuck somewhere and can't be moved.

Really the only selling point here is that you can hurt your avatar but if that's all we want to do, can't we just have a game more like interactive buddy (You know, that little flash game online where you get points for beating up your buddy. These points can then be used on more items to be used for beating on said buddy, kind of like the game version of having a little brother). Avatar games still have alot of potential, i'm holding out now for an avatar 3rd person shooter. Do not say you wouldn't buy it, you so would.

So really inconclusion Avatar Drop is fun for a few minutes then becomes obsolete. I mean look, I tried to write a review on it and I got so easily side-tracked. Get the demo, play for a few minutes and you'll see what i mean.

My verdict is 4/10 (4 being the total number of minutes it kept me entertained for)

PS Is my typing better?
