He plays them 2 or 3 weeks before upload. He still has to write the script, record, make the cartoon and send it off for approval, leaving time for edits and changes. Just another word for a tall floor lamp, to distinguish it from a short table lamp. The British have a lot of simple names for things that sum up what they are in one, or two words.
