It's about damn time. I don't know what clocks your running on down there in "auzzie land," but I expect *my* Zero Punctuation at 7:00 am Pacific Standard goddamn it.

Wot? This game exactly when it always does, for me at least.

OT: Gonna give this one a pass, I've watched a LP, and the jokes are fun, but the gameplay doesn't seem to do it for me. Which is odd, cause I usually enjoy hack & slash.

They've changed up the schedule to prevent everyone trying to watch every new video at the same time. For instance, Rhymedown came out at 9:00 (my time), this at 12:00, and Feed Dump is expected at 3:00.

I'm probably going to get it just for the humor (I read some Deadpool comics and enjoyed it very much). Even if the action looks repetitive.

The Superman 64 reference at the end made me laugh. I recommend watching the Angry Video Game Nerd's review of it, for people who don't get the joke.

You know, I enjoyed the Deadpool game. But I really couldn't tell you why. I do like the character so that certainly had something to do with it. But the gameplay was meh and the comedy was merely ok.

I think mostly it was Nolan North's performance. It's weird getting to see him just go off the rails silly and I loved the cameo piece at the beginning.

Even if it is warmer by the fire, gaming may have to get a bit more kinky.
I hear comic books respond very well to being Whed-on.

Okay, now I'm trying to imagine Deadpool in place of Raiden at the end of Revengeance. I'm laughing already and I don't know why.

Dammit, Yahtzee! Why must you bring up the old wound that is Superman 64!

Judging from game play footage, Deadpool looks rather fun. I kinda think of him as Duke Nukem if he was suffering from ADHD, multiple personalities, and dementia.

I think I like the idea of Deadpool more than what Deadpool really is. Side note: What the hell is his name suppose to mean?

Anyway, you killed me with that last bit Yahtzee! :) Very funny.

I dont care about the character that much, though there was some fun stuff in the game. Just that it was a boring hack and slash with the same enemies again and again (and i like Dynasty Warriors so that speaks volumes. lol). Without Deadpool jokes and ***** slapping wolverine, this game would get a one out of ten. Seems like all the money went on making deadpool, deadpool. The gameplay is repetitive and poor. I thik if you love the Deadpool character, i still would say rent it.

Since the game was written by a Deadpool writer, I think the story is fairly on par with the comics.

Overall though, the gameplay was just alright. I particularly wasn't a fan of the shooting sections, and there are certain enemies you have to shoot, but you run out of ammo...then you're kinda screwed.

Also for a game full of chest high walls, you'd think we'd be able to crouch (and if we can, I'm pretty much through the game with no idea how to do that...)

But yeah, it's Deadpool at his Deadpooliest with decent melee combat, slightly below average shooter combat, and really what I think determines if you'll enjoy it or not really is just based on how much you enjoy Deadpool as a character.

Yeah, while I don't read the comics, they got his character perfect. After renting this one, I have to say that the comedy and fourth wall breaking humor really sells it but the controls are dodgy and generic at best.

Oh, cool an actual review. A couple people didn't take really kindly to his Last of Us review, so I was worried he was gonna throw another temper tantrum like the Smash incedent.

On topic of the review, pretty funny stuff once again. I especially liked the "Dead Pool" pun, mostly because I'm the type of halfwit that un-ironically enjoys a good pun. I also like teh random humor and beat-'em-ups haven't really gotten old for me yet, so if Deadpool actually does makes a clean transition like Yahtzee says, maybe I'll actually buy this thing.

Think i'll watch a couple gameplay videos to decide.

Never played this one. Worth getting on Steam? I worry it'll be too much like the Homestar Runner game in that its trying WAY too hard.

P.S. Conker's Bad Fur Day is straight up my favorite game of all time!

I watched an LP of it, and it's definitely the kind of game you play for the humor more than the gameplay. Also, not to mention the game's way of ramping up the difficulty is to just spawning a million dudes a million times and calling it a day. A somewhat functional hack and slash without anything that special or new, but it's humor is just so fast paced, loud, and downright bonkers it's still entertaining.

This video helped me notice we really do need more AAA games these days that aren't afraid to be light and funny. I love my well-designed grit and depressing tales as much as anyone, but I can only replay Conker's Bad Fur Day so many times. Closest I can think of is Ratchet and Clank where humor and goofiness are somewhat of a focus (both in dialogue and the gameplay), but All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault were meh at best so who knows what will happen in the franchise next (and Mr. Price, if you're true to your word about your future games all being multiplayer focused, so help me!)

This video reminded me of how much I absolutely loathe people who describe themselves as "random."
