I love this game. Its like a crazy multicolor bad scripted version of Grand Theft Auto except stealing cars is always fun and you can drag citizens through the streets with your trusty grappling powerglove :] plus it gives people an excuse to destroy shit when they really really need to.

This game is pretty fun but the Jet controls are horrible. The main story doesn't make sense but its still fun to play the missions where as GTA IV had a deep story but boring as hell missions.

Just Cause...nice! Yeah I love blowing shit up, well just cause...lol. BUt yeah I hate how the blackmarket works and I want to drive this car but I have to spend money, or I want to get more ammo for this gun, ehhh call blackmarket. But in the end fun, and playing it on the hardest difficulty, not so easy. Also fix the damn glitch of "The Mile High Club". If you touch either of the ballons on it u die, well it doesn't help that the blackmarket guy drops u off right above them and with all of help from god you might clear these ballons

i hate the jets, whits is why I gave up on the fry me to the moon mission. i must admit that i am getting tired of "blow up 2/3 of a convoy, preform a carjacking, and deliver data or a suspect in less than 5 minutes.

OK! This video has made me get a PS3, a TV,(I was a PC exclusive gamer before this) and this game (which is ridiculous amounts of fun) since it came out.

I know this review is a year old, but it's the reason I finally went and checked out "Just Cause 2" this week.

I seriously had to laugh at just how spot on this review actually is. Everything is just as absurdly insane as Yahtzee describes, which is part of why this game ends up being so mind-bogglingly stupifyingly fun, despite itself. Yes, it's a stupid game, and it's kind of unashamed of that, which almost seems refreshing, in a very disturbing kind of way. It doesn't hurt that everything's so over-the-top.

But seriously: I spent a good half-hour playing "Spiderman" with a parachute and Bionic Commando's arm. For some reason this is just far too amusing to me.

I find getting guns to be easy (though it may be because I'm still "blowing shit up" only in Panau City) since I Just have to Cause a police unrest by shooting things. Then I throw bullets at them and often get replacements from their dead bodies.

I kind of like the dialogue. It's nice, like when Rico dismounts a gatling machine gun and says "Now, we'll have some fun," or "Now you're gonna be sorry!" His character is also "just", though simple. Even the stereotypical characters (including "Sloth Demon") are funny in a stupid way. The dialogue, overall, is like a bike with no tripe.
It took me about 20 hours (thanks, in-game timer) to beat the final boss (damn final missions probably took 1 or 2) and get to 28% or so.

I own and love this game, but Ben is right, it certainly has frustrating issues featuring. For one, its true, buying one item from the dealer at a time is little more than annoying.

The helicopter can deliver us full sized motors. Would it really be pushing the space to carry more than one item of stock at a time?

Also, a gripe Ben didn't mention, who designed the aircraft controls? I can pilot helicopters, no problem. The other aircraft though, hate me and now I hate any race or mission that involves them.

Despite that though it really is fun to play. Blow up so much stuff, it's great!
