You really are missing the point I'm making.renard said:then you have:MRMIdAS2k said:I was thinking more of something that makes sense, stuff like "complete the game with mario & luigi to unlock peach"
as opposed to "BEAT IT 100000000 TIMES TO GET SOMEONE YOU EXPECTED TO BE THERE FROM THE START"
Clear Classic Mode with 10 Characters to unlock sonic.
clear classic mode under 12 minutes to unlock captain falcon
clear classic mode under normal difficulty with zelda or under hard difficulty with link to unlock ganondorf
beat the 100-multiman melee to unlock falco
To the "100000000 times" thing:
1 life brawl, enemy handicap at 300%, AI set to piece of cake, start. Enjoy your unlock rampage!
And you have at least 3 ways to unlock the characters: beat subspace emisary and let x character join to your group , beat x number of brawls or do x thing.
I don't see people complaining about some timesplitters characters which are locked from the start...
Because without unlockable stuff, the game would be pretty shallow, plus it gives the person an aim to go for.s0denone said:Why are characters even locked in a multiplayer title? Forcing people to play singleplayer in a multiplayer game, is like forcing people to sit at home, and have a 'singleplayer' party.
Personally i agree with this...it'll be interesting to see if this kind of opinion is considered to be all hype and not thinking for yourself...s0denone said:Since you asked what he didn't like about GTA IV, and he replied with this - I'll just express my view on this. I found that hours passed quickly while playing GTA IV.mspencer82 said:The point I made about not being able to play more than one or two hours at a time, I can't really explain. After completing a couple of missions and one or two side things like a date or billiards with Roman, I feel like I've played enough for that session. I'm not really bored or anything, it's more like I'm tired.I Mav I said:Apologies for my previous post...i was trying to ask mspencer82 what he doesnt like about GTA IV...the quote seemed to fail on me...
I know, that sounded confusing. I said I couldn't explain it.
Definately a title you should pick up, or at least rent, and then pick up. Arguably the best xbox 360 title.
Well, you can unlock Brawl characters just playing multiplayer...s0denone said:Forcing people to play singleplayer in a multiplayer game, is like forcing people to sit at home, and have a 'singleplayer' party.
I got that from your first post as well, just didn't feel like commenting on it, instead I pointed out the (in my opinion) preposterous one-liner.Drake Flare said:Well there are. we are those who have no life's when you where young did you ever notice there where the children from your school you NEVER saw outside? they where busy tucked away in a dark hidey place playing games until they pass out due to lack o' food and/or sleep. Short version of before post would be the gamers who surronded me used to just either shoot the crap out of each other on an Xbox, or complete some long new adventure game, and then talk about it the next couple of weeks, nowerdays all I hear is "oh wii is such a smart and intellegent console and really helps you exersize (<-can't spell)" and "Oh yay a new mario game it is so awesome and great and amazing" I much preferd listening to people talking about blowing the crap out of each other on one game, or talking about some game with a good plot, or just good games in general.. Like any of the halflife series. (portal included), instead of gimickey same old crap.. like say Mario.
Nyeh I stop talking now, I suppose some of you might get where I'm coming from here.
Oh, and this argument should have ended a week and a half ago. On the 1000+ post SSBB forum. Let's not repeat the same arguments over and over and over AND OVER AD NAUSEUM UNTIL I'M FORCED TO WRITE IN CAPITAL LTRS & UZ WEB SALNG, SOMTHING I GENERLY DONT DO!Kaos Incarnate said:Because without unlockable stuff, the game would be pretty shallow, plus it gives the person an aim to go for.s0denone said:Why are characters even locked in a multiplayer title? Eh may I point out the fact that some may be from Europe and have hyped up a game they don't even have yet.Derek147900 said:Hell yah. (to all SSBB bitchers) why the hell is everyone getting all mad about this. It's a REVIEW. this the way he thinks about it. If you like SSBB then play it. I play SSBB and i get his point. I don't like the story or the shit load of time it takes to get some of the better things. I also hate alot of other thing about the game, but by now u have moved on to your next hate mail and won't give it a second thought. You guys need to suck it up and grow some balls. Yahtzee thank you for not letting these bitches get the better of you. keep up the good work.
