Yeah pretty muchGolem29 said:Are people really basing their opinions of this game based on Yahtzee playing an hour and a half of the game?
It's got an 8.5 on metacritic and it was the number one board on GameFAQs for about two months before RDR stepped up, and it's still at number three below the Xbox and PS3 versions of that, and it has pretty massive sales numbers, and it comes from a series that's incredibly well loved in Japan and has a strong following in the US due to MHFU.manas said:Yahtzee, why do you review shitty games nobody cares about?
If Yahtzee told you to eat shit you probably would judging by this post.drkchmst said:Thank you for confirming my fears of what this game would be when I chose to buy an older game proven to be more interesting
I got 2 reg and 2 pro. Dissappointed with the Pro because it's not Gamecube compatible and my Wavebird is the only working Gamecube controller I have left.Magnatek said:I figured that you had a Classic Controller and have used one, so you got a mention. I have yet to play a game with it yet, myself.
Yeah, the loading screens are mostly there for two reasons:Towowo2 said:In actuality, I always thought that the game splitting into multiple areas was a delibrate design choice, Hell the JP only PC Monster Hunter still has them.
Just look at Crystal Bearers for a moment. The game is a completely seamless world without loading times and still managed to look fantastic. So yeah to those saying the loading times exist because the Wii's apparent lack of technical processing power are so very mistaken. I can guarentee that if the game came out on the PS3/360 instead of the Wii, it would of been exactly the same with the loading screens being there completely intact. Just my 2 cents
It's not that bad, just from his review I can tell he didn't even get past the tutorial. He didn't mention the gigantic monsters you fight... Very disapointing.Aiden_the-Joker1 said:this game sounds horrible. Brilliant review as always Yahtzee
All the MH fans are dissapointed at the review because it seems he played the first half of the 1* missions and stopped. I know he hated these types of games, but he could have played more.VanityGirl said:It's not that bad, just from his review I can tell he didn't even get past the tutorial. Well, that might be the reason. I am a civilized man, whose brain works properly, so i know how to use mouse and keyboard. I dont need to use the microwave oven sold by Sony as PS2.milskidasith said:It's got an 8.5 on metacritic and it was the number one board on GameFAQs for about two months before RDR stepped up, and it's still at number three below the Xbox and PS3 versions of that, and it has pretty massive sales numbers, and it comes from a series that's incredibly well loved in Japan and has a strong following in the US due to MHFU.manas said:Yahtzee, why do you review shitty games nobody cares about?
The only way it would be a game nobody cared about was if you'd never touched a PSP, PS2, or a Wii, because the MH series has been huge on all of those.
MH is Capcom. Using caps makes you more wrong.Joemaster240 said:i loved watching this. FIRST TIME I'VE EVER SEEN A REFERENCE TO another of NINTENDO's MASSIVE franchises that wasn't mario. I think he needs to do so more often because i loved the refrence.
What's that smell? Ah yes, a PC elitist.manas said:Well, that might be the reason. I am a civilized man, whose brain works properly, so i know how to use mouse and keyboard.
