Funny enough, the "A**hole System" is what PvP games in general run on. I've given up on Titanfall and Team Fortress 2 because most of players are experts who have played for hours per day over all the time the game has been out and the rest (i.e. my team, usually) are players so inexperienced they don't even use grenades/melee. It then leaves me losing a majority of rounds and feeling like such games are a complete waste of time.

Not entirely serious, maybe.

Leia can drop a shield, but she can also shoot through it, killing every basic footsoldier with one shot from pretty much any range, and it also stuns other heroes - making her hilariously effective at killing Darth Vader.

I suppose if you stick to Hero hunt the whole time, you'll never notice her effectiveness at team support too. She (and Palpatine) spawn in Elite soldiers as body guards, and they can also drop powerups for the team. Getting stuck with playing her repeatedly must get annoying though.

Ok, I got a damn good laugh out of that one.

I'd extend your complaints about Leia to half of the Heroes. Luke, Vader and Bobba are the only ones that really make any sense. The Emperor is supposed to be a frail old man who focuses more on scheming and Han is...an ok fighter I guess.

A place where assholes turns other people into assholes by being assholes? Sound just like life in the city.

TF2? Last time I checked (which admittedly was a couple years ago) it was full of sidegrades, but no straight upgrades, with many vanilla loadouts being pretty damn viable, if a bit boring compared to some stuff that came out later.

Well you should have put down the full 120 quid mate. You can unlock the last gun that 1 shots on a headshot or 2 shots on anything else rapid fire blaster on start up, because welcome to EA balance.

That...was a long time ago. Crazy huge amount of content now. Crafting, hats, and Free to Play.
I miss old TF2, even though I didn't play much.

I don't know if this was the review of the new SW Battlefront or the SW Battlefront 2 made in 2005 which was a sequel to the original SW Battlefront from 2004. When Yahtzee made that joke about Mortal Kombat I giggled but this time, or rather, that time I first heard about this game, I was legitimately confused

So, is this a review of Star Wars: Battlefront [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Battlefront_(2004_video_game)], or Star Wars: Battlefront [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Battlefront_(2015_video_game)]?

To quote Mr. Croshaw: "Did some kind of apocalypse happen while I wasn't looking? [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/916-Wolfenstein]"

Campaign for campaigns friends. I enjoyed Team Fortress 2 for about two years then dropped it for things that had more interesting stories than "The Sniper is a Spy!".

By bringing up my experience with Team Fortress 2 does that mean I'm a hat hater? Hell no. I enjoy the gameplay of TF2 and should a friend ask me to join in, I wouldn't hesitate. What I won't do though is follow the multiplayer crowd around from release to release of the next new shiny title. I found my niche in Wargaming games and I'm aware of the lack of campaign there. A good campaign in a FPS title I like however ensures more repeat playing and more justification in dropping money on it. That's what seems to always end up happening with multiplayer only titles my friends (and myself) get into. Either they find 'the one' and are forever loyal to it (sticking around even after official server support is dropped) or they title hop like [insert simile here].

Its a convoluted way of saying 'fuck off multiplayer only shooters' but hey, I'm drunk after an incredibly stressful final exam in a Zero Punctuation comment section, so whatever. There's my 2 cents.

Well that's more so because they have actually been playing the game for a long time, at least in the TF2 case, not because they've got significantly better guns. Even though tf2 does have balancing faults, it's not as apparent as Battlefront's leveling system wherein not only are players who have been around for longer generally better, but they get better items as well.

Hell, EA claimed they made it simplistic to make it accessible. Instead what they did was make a simplistic inaccessible game.

If you suck at TF2, you can always be a medic, and always be useful and always be in demand.

I'd kiss that puppy so damn hard, a mode like that might actually get me to play a AAA Multi-player Shooter.

At first, I thought Yahtzee was "describing" the setup to The Force Awakens... but then he mentioned that the Stormtrooper dies and another one takes the central focus (before they die), which made me think of a potential Star Wars spin-off movie that plays out like a live-action Gotham Knight only with Stormtroopers...

Other than that, I can imagine Leia jumping into the battlefield, shooting up bitches and then chocking them to death with a chain in close combat... In the words of the RC Nerd: "That would be soooo coool..."
