Someone really should explain to me why restricting sales of adult games to children is a bad thing though. Coming from a country which already does such a thing, though with movies since we don't have an adult rating for games, everything works fine for us. I mean, doesn't your first amendment defence mean that it's OK for a 10 year old to buy pornography?
At any rate, I'm against any form of political repression of games, so you guys have my support in spirit.

This is a simple one people. Smaller Government, more freedom. Smaller Government means less ass fucking "Social Justice" tits running around trying to tell you what to breath, what to eat and what to think, and what should be considered fun. I don't care the stupid party shit, like my beliefs can be broken down to one of two colors. We need people in government who doesn't wave a carrot in front of our faces drawing us ever closer to the bondage of slavery. Governments only involvement in video games should me. "You want to play video games, you play those kick ass video games, I don't give a fuck."
So look who is in government now, and I don't care what color they are, are they for leaving you alone and living your peaceful life, or are they out to fuck with you in the name of Social Justice, because some cock sucking crack whore needs your money for their next fix? Do they not concern themselves with what you eat, drink, worship, and play, or are they demanding that you eat, drink, worship, and play only what they deem correct. Do they let you accept what you want to accept or do they demand that you accept shit you don't want to fucking accept, because everything has to be fair and equal for everyone. Are they the type that tell schools that their can't be winner and losers in sports because they don't want anyones feelings to be hurt?
I would love to see a online FPS in the hands of those control freaks in Washington, where everyone wins no one loses and everyone gets the same achievements even though some did all the fucking work? Who would play video games then? Fuck Progressive liberal dicks who think like that, Fuck big government whores who want to regulate, and control everything.
Simply put, fuck Social Justice. Give me personal Freedom! I'm all for video games not being banned, but this sounded like (and probably was) it was written by someone else for an ad, then just put *insert silly yahtzee-like comment here* whenever they wanted him to make a funny.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe he's doing this not because he was paid, but because it's a worthy cause that's both worth fighting for, and also one that's flying under the radar and desperately needs someone with star power to call attention to it (even if it is just internet celebrity star power)? Yahtzee doesn't seem like the type of person who'd sell out for just anyone who offered him bribes, especially considering this is a 'are games art?' issue, which Yahtzee has previously sided with the 'yes they are' camp. Furthermore, the ESA, the ones who requested Yahtzee make this video, are not a corporation, they're a trade association, which are typically non-profit organizations, so it's not like they're profiting from this. It's not like people who got to VGVN are going to make the ESA money. They're raising awareness that, hey, all those video games that you love? They could potentially end up censored and butchered if some politicians get their way, and if you don't stand up and make your voice heard, they very well may succeed. And you think you're safe just because you're in a foreign country? Yeah, no, because many games are still made in the US and will be affected by any laws it passes, regardless of whether you live there, which means you get double screwed because it affects you and there's nothing you can do about it, except draw attention to it so that lazy americans get off their asses and start actually paying attention to politics.PoisonUnagi said:

Thank you so much for this. Sometimes I wish I didn't work for the Government (US Army counts I think). I love my video games from CoD MW II to Portal and I'll be damned if they get regulated. Keep doing what your doing Mr. Croshaw.
