I am wondering, does anyone else find listening to Mr "yahtzee" relaxing? I certainly do, but then I'm very strange even as egotistical megalomaniacs go.

Yeah I used to laugh uncontrollably when he first started, but now that I don't play video games too often, I just find it really cathartic to hear him castrate the latest release.

He kind of turns me on. I don't know if it's the accent or the fact he is yelling a lot, or both. I think I have issues.

I have seen his videos several times. His voice is just relaxing. I play his videos in the background when I play games.

its voice is most often monotone and so fast it sounds like a droning. That might be it.

It's also methods used to brainwash cult members.

The more you know

OK, not much to discuss here. No, usually I'm holding my sides too much to relax.
You don't actually hold your sides, do you?
The guy isn't that funny.

And no, I don't find listening to him relaxing. He doesn't have some soothing baritone. He's got a quasi-nasally Aussie voice that get rough when he runs out of breath or get particularly heated in his point. That's not relaxing.

It why I watch the BBC. Lovely accents that make me warm and fuzzy inside.

Fixed.

I don't really find him calming or relaxing, but I could see why someone could, when he's calm there's something in his voice that suggests tea and biscuits, and while those tea and biscuits may not be as exquisitely served as they are by Stephen Fry's voice and I've kind of forgotten what I'm getting at here.

Still, I find him funny, maybe not as funny as I once found him, but still funny.

He doesn't sound Australian at all.
He clearly has an English accent.

Some reviews I guess can be a little cathartic, but by and large I'm laughing not sighing in relief.

hah all well and good, with me it's not the sound of the voice, it's just enjoying that he is seemingly ruining someone else's day, or otherwise taking pleasure from the pain of others. Sufficed to say it's been strongly suggested that I begin attending therapy.

No he isn't. If you read what it says under the videos it says he is "British born and currently Australian based"
