Like I said, the Ulu approach only works if you're dealing with maybe three, four around you at the max. Anything more and I'd be scared. The thing is that Ulu are really light-weight; you could get off maybe five or six slices before the zombie could even swing. And, remember, zombies have tendons too. Their limbs would be useless if you simply sliced at the shoulders.
