both of those can kill a human quite quickly through loss of blood, but zombies don't survive on blood. The drumstick might cause enough brain damage but it would have to be repeated stabbing and the Ulu would have to be decapitation/rendering them limbless which would be a bit too up close and personal for my liking. Any long, heavy objects around you?

Like I said, the Ulu approach only works if you're dealing with maybe three, four around you at the max. Anything more and I'd be scared. Of course, this is how it is with any melee weapon that isn't a chainsaw.

The thing is that Ulu are really light-weight; you could get off maybe five or six slices before the zombie could even swing. And, remember, zombies have tendons too. Their limbs would be useless if you simply sliced at the shoulders.
