Finn saw a man on the other end of the street. He waved at the guy and managed to get his attention. He decided that he had to get to this guy some how,or else he would die. It was ether the guy going to him,or vice vursa.
Finn knew that his pistol would not last him very long,so he decided he needed another weapon.
He saw that the building was covered in barbed wire. He thought,if he could find a melee weapon,he could make it 5 times more dangerous by covering it with the wire.
He looked around and saw a loose piece of wood. He pulled it out and looked at the wire. Some of the wire was torn off at one point,and if pulled hard enough,the other part would be torn off too.
Finn pulled very hard and the wire broke off easily,causing him to fall back.
Finn tied the piece of wood and the wire in a very tight knot.
Finn went down the stairs and prepared to run.

Long month. A small family from downtown came to the hospital. They were starving. Apparently, people have already gotten to supermarkets and kitchens.
The father died soon after. We had to drag the body into the morgue. What I saw there shook me up... All the corpses were writhing... It took 6 hours to kill them all. Apparantly, this disease also affects the previously deceased, and not just the newly dead.

As Murray wrote this down, two guards came, dragging a young man, around 25, into his office. "What's your name?" asked Murray. The kid gave no answer. "What did he do?"
"We found him stealing drugs from the pharmacy downstairs," said one of the guards.
"Tsk tsk..." Murray started. "You really shouldn't have done that boy. We are trying to keep everyone in here alive, and I will not compromise that by having a thief among us. So, consider this a warning, and if you fail to listen, you will be exiled from this building, and thrown among those... things."

Chaser:One of the more common infected,this infected will chase after you and can scramble over barricades.
Lurker: In the city sewers lies a creature. This infected is big. It feeds by grabbing people over sewer openings using it's tentacles to grab,strangle and consume the unlucky person. Yes,consume. It sucks the person in to add to it's body mass. It started out as a normal infected with tentacles,but now it almost spans the entire sewer.
Loner: this infected is a lonely infected. It is sentient,and usually friendly. It talks in a garbled form of English and various grunts (for example, Hegroo means hello,and a warbling noise means hungry.)It shows that it is in constant pain (Often asking survivors to kill them to end the pain)and also loneliness.
Soldier: Just under the loner in smartness,it actually talks in a weird way,E.G "The Tango Is up!" or maybe "WARBLES WARBLES THEY LIVE IN WARBLES" This infected can use automatics but cannot use bolt action ones. They are called soldier infected because the first ones were soldiers who were what that was left of the soldiers that had entered the city.
Singer: This infected comes out at night. They are deadly and totally silent except when they feed,when they sing a heavenly tune. This tune is often heard throughout the city at night,a constant reminder of those who were killed by the Singer.

Finn ran out of the building. The infected chased after him while he ran down the street. He ran down the street and managed to pull out his gun. He shot a few infected then he ran over to the guy at the end of the street.
"Run like hell!" Finn screamed.
