Hi everyone I'm more or less new to this community.
I've noticed a few people discussing ZPS(zombie panic source)
and would just like everyone to know me and a friend are running a ZPS ZPO server.

We've been playing ZPS for 3 months now and found it to be quite difficult to win as a survivor on anyones current server, also we found nobody was really playing ZPO(Zombie Panic Objective) maps weve therfore decided to host a server and welcome anyone to join

I've noticed a lot of the community asking for servers to run ZPO maps quite a lot
and just letting people know we'll be hosting them from now on.

Also anyone who hasnt download this brilliant Mod can find it at: http://www.zombiepanic.org/site/index.php

is the IP and where usually on from about 8 oclock GMT anyway!

good hunting

If you can send me a personal PM with the server name and IP, just in case this thread gets lost in the sands of time, when I get back to my PC of Awesome this weekend, I'll hunt this up and fave it. I just started ZPS last weekend and it looks very interesting, but I just gotta get used to it.

I have to say that I played ZPS for a while, but flat-out gave up on account of the majority of people being idiots incapable of teamwork.

But, I'll give this a shot. Sometime.

Seems your playing on bad servers then truthfully. Also ZPS has been having a bad influx of annoying CS kids.

I'm digging this up because, well I love ZPS and since it has been STEAM supported there has been a boom in players. This is a good and bad thing, more servers, but the ones I like to play on are always full and there is a larger chance of idiots, people who horde ammo and wepons, destroy barricades just to get in, block, and just don't use teamwork. Still, STEAM updates when the game does wich is great.

P.S. How do you uninstall a mod?

P.P.S. Does anyone else think the MP5 should use pistol ammo instead of rifle, and that when you have the MP5 you should be able to hold more pistol rounds.

Well, with your average mod, all you have to do to delete is either select the uninstall option in the mod's installer or simply go into your Sourcemod folder and drag the mod's folder into the trash.

As for newly-supported mods on Steam, I'd say you can probably uninstall them like a regular game.

You can, but what about the old, unsupported version?
To get rid of the outdated version of ZPS, go into Steam/steamapps/sourcemods. Delete file folder for ZPS and then restart Steam. After that, the mod shouldn't appear on you games list anymore.

Don't worry, if you already have the supported version of ZPS loaded, doing this will not wipe it out. After they gained Steam support, mods like ZPS are now treated like Source-based games and can be found in the Steam/steamapps/ folder.

Ok so now I'm interested. I have a problem though, how do I find the server?

Okay, so I just played ZPS since the update, and it's pretty sweet, the AK47 has new animations and models, the blood effects are cool, I like the splotches, instead of the entire screen going red. There a few more maps, and if you stick to the custom maps you avoid most of the "noobs".
