Well, I'd definitely want people with regenerating health or shields because I'd be hogging the medical supplies like a fat kid with the twinkies. Also, you have to have people who aren't going to turn on you, so no evil buggers. Also, people with melee or unlimited ammo for one or more weapons are a must, because I live in Canada and we don't have spare ammo and .50 caliber machine gun emplacements conveniently located on every block. With all that in mind, I'd go with the following:

1. Alex Mercer from Prototype - he could not only kill the zombies, but also eat them and regain health in between waves.
2. Mace Windu from any Star Wars game - Although I'd have to resist the urge to say "use the force, mutha fuckka!"
3. Kratos - If you can knife Zeus in the ribs, you're on my team.

My Lone Wanderer- Fallout 3

The Prince- Katamari Demacy
The Lone Wanderer more then enough ammo and medicine to field an entire army several weapons all at full hp. He'd start with a sniper rifle to thin out the herd then break out the Vindicator (unique Gatling laser).
Kratos would just well...we all know what he would do.
The Prince would just roll all the zombies up have his father turn them into another moon. Cleans up the mess and kills zombies!
Meanwhile I would be safe in my Lone Wanderers Enclave "borrowed" Vertibird taking the occasional strafing run.

The Unique Fallout 3 Gatling Laser is called Vengeance, not Vindicator. That´s the "FAL type" assault rifle from ME 2.

I really must play some more fallout 3. It's like when I memorized every Pokemon in leaf green and Emerald but now I can only think of a few off the top of my head.

Strelok for his artifacts and overall coolness. Demon because he's slayed thing the size of skyscrapers i think a little zombie problem will be little trouble. Niko for added coolness and he can drive us around.

Though come to think of it these three all probably suffer from some sort of post traumatic stress disorder so they could very well turn and kill me and themselves just as well as the zombies.

Dante - DmC (Yes, the new one. I like the redesign, shoot me). I think even if he got bitten the demon blood would reject the virus, so he can't be changed and would waste half the zombies by himself.

Alex Mercer - Prototype. Aside from the incredible usefulness of being able to transform his body into just about anything, his armor transformation makes him zombieproof.

The kid from Scribblenauts - Scribblenauts. He's in for support purposes. He can spawn us an infinite supply of food and water, any weapons and equipment we need, plus tanks or giant robots to travel with. Enter: Gundam *poof*
