It's pretty simple: the product is a spyware toolbar.

Also they have a "virtual world" where you earn play money by playing Flash games (with advertisements) or by buying it with real money.

Oh god this. Every website I go to this poor excuse of a game is advertised. Its a social game network MEANT for 47 year old pedophiles to act like 12 year old girls.

Ugh, they really are everywhere. Irritating does not begin to describe it. Especially the ones that move. I'd like to make a proposal! No more moving banner ads! Ever! No flashing, no zooming in on different misshapen bits of an anime chick, just no more. I want to read or watch something, and I have never clicked on an ad that moved. About the only ads I ever click on are full of text, and written in a casual tone. Something about them hooks me...

Although Zwinky still isn't as annoying as imvu.

Whichever the 'fighting' game is where you 'level up' as described in its ads make me feel like crushing the entire internet. It flashes bright white and explodes at you. Bah! It's the thing that keeps me from running to SMBC everyday.

Though, there is one even more horrible. That one smiley ad where if you even touch the side of it with your mout- "SAY SOMETHING!" Gah! Die!

I agreew with your proposal. All ads should just be a description of it. It creates a more serious competition with forms of writing and is not so annoying as to throw a fist through the glass screen.
