I think it's time to open more chapters of a... certain group that starts with A and ends with Z. First stop, Yahoo!, then facebook, and then we mobilize a militia to assault the headquarters of the evil empire. Who's with me! *Sees no hands come up and walks away*

OT: Well, I can only say I am not pleased at this, as I hate Zynga. Not casual games, but distinctly that company.

Sorry Yahoo, you burned those bridges a long time ago with me. I will never use you again, ever.

"You have my Modem."

OT: Zynga are a blight upon the internet and must be purged before they can spread further.

when we can expect to see Mafia Wars updates in our Yahoo! Mail accounts
Do. NOT. Want.

Can I turn those off already?
From a Facebook friend of mine:
"in your news feed, on the right of the update, there's a Hide button, click it and you can hide all the app updates for that particular app."

Enjoy!
in Yahoo mail? Or in facebook? I use only the first of these two

BEHOLD

The Anti-Christ of casual gaming once more has struck to an entire region. Those people shall be burned and converted and claim Zynga as their new God

Quick, my fellow brethren and sisters, find haven in MSN. Be protected against the ever-expanding conquest of this Fiend!
What happens when it infects MSN? What will be our final bastion of hope against the oncoming hordes!!

I vote steam!!

Sounds like the planning proposal for OneSocialWeb, Elgg and diaspora (and presumably there's a few other DIY social network frameworks).

Interesting article. I am curious to see what will come of a Zynga/Yahoo relationship. I am seriously surprised that Yahoo is still around after all these years. Though all things considered this may be a positive step for Zynga. I would be interested to know how Yahoo will be able to help Zynga boost it's numbers. Though I guess only time will tell what this agreement entails. Thank you for posting this, in an exemplary fashion.
