I seem to recall the PC version of Zero Dawn is mostly fixed now, and I did quite like the bit I played on my brother's PS4, might have to pick it up at some point.

I think they just released a 60fps patch for Zero Dawn on the PS5, so that's very nice atleast. Figured Forbidden West would get delayed.

Hey a new Saint's Row game!? Hell yeah im down for some of that. Those games were awesome.

You got me looking through my Steam Collection. I have 2, which has been talking PC major patch since 2019! 3 has been remastered! And Steam is not giving it away for free to those with the OG. Dang it. I haven't finished IV but should get back to it. Fun stuff.

I'll keep an eye out for this as 3 is one of my all time favorites.

I know trailers don't tell you how much you'll like the game but it's trailer was terrific to watch.

And the game sequence in that trailer is actually IN THE GAME! With the same song and everything! That almost never happens! You skydive into a penthouse suite from a helicopter and do Lucha Libre moves against the enemies inside.

I timed my jump out of the helicopter when the first verse started.

The fact that it's Epic games, does leave a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not defending those buttholes, but if it works as an unconventional learning experience, so be it. Just so long as no kids don't forget and actually go beyond Fortnite. That's all that matters. I'm back in high school how at first, my peers were either indifferent or didn't like Greek mythology. Then God of War I came out, and all sudden everybody wanted to what the Greek myths were all about. Funny how that works out.

I also find it ironic that they want to honor a man who strived to make people stop fighting, killing, and yelling at each other...... in a game where it's all about people fighting, killing, and yelling at each other

Wow, I was just whining about Saints Row 3 Remastered not being free for those that already had the OG.

Free this week for PC on Epic games! Gotta delete my Steam version and start all over.

ITMT: I played some 4 today. Did the tank mayhem challenge and it is still a hoot.

Think The Incredible Hulk (2008), Ghostrider: Spirit of Vengeance, or God of War (2018). This even double the case with God of War 4 as it's literally a sequel, and only a reboot as it's a new saga/beginning, but all of the other games did happen. Street Fighter IV & V sorta count as they are prequels to III, the final game in the timeline.

But in my lizard brain it’s still not equating, since it’s a nullified statement at best. If it was “reboot not remake” or vice version then yeah, message received loud and clear. But to say “reboot not reboot” to me is no different than saying “go not go” or “hot not hot”.

Case in point, if a studio is continuing and/or reviving a stagnant series for whatever reason with a new installment under the original’s name then it’s a bloody reboot.

You would think they would do that less, but no.

Also, agreed that Trailer is awesome. And I appreciate they used the song for one of the best missions in the game instead of just having it in the trailer. I don't care much for Kanye but "Power" just worked so well.

I think it's Final Fantasy numbering, where sequels to individual games aren't numbered sequels but wholly new entries get a number.
